I have absolutely only good things to say about tomato backpackers hotel. First of all, you couldn't have been dreaming of a better location. It's just 200 m from the river, and the Piazza Vittorio Veneto was just 10 min away by foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was super clean, tidy and cosy. Actually,... More

Excellent staff, Nice Hotel, Good Rooms, best price! Good location in the centre of the town. Breakfast so lala, but good espresso. I had a single room which was very quiet. It was small but had everything in it you need.

Nearly a cosy boutique hotel, good price. Very nice paint drawings and signs. Breakfast simple, but with true espresso or coffee. However, always same bread/juice/jam. A great plus: there is always free hot, or fresh or sparkling water available at the bar. Very nice check-in and daily services. Always friendly. Nice owner and staff. Nice rooms, very clean. If room... More

Stayed at the hostel from 31 May to 4 June 2014. Simply but lovingly furnished. Kind and helpful young staff. Rooms clean, bathroom small but ok. Forget the breakfast, but do have the coffee. Conveniently located just 500 metres from Parco Valentino, in my opinion the most beautiful place in Turin, and about 1.5 kms from the city centre. I... More

Tommaso, Benji and Annalisa made my stay in Turin really fun - very friendly, informative and always up for a nice chat. I spent a few wonderful evenings just in the common room talking to hostel guests and staff! I stayed in the single room which was quite spacious, with a good bathroom and even a balcony overlooking a quaint... More

I stayed from 23-28 May in a single room (no. 304) with own bathroom at EUR36 per night. Given this price I will say "very good" - nice funky little little backpacker pad, great bar, lounge and courtyard area. Bike hire for EUR10/24 hours was great - best way to see Turin given it is a very large city and... More

Tomato is located in a great neighborhood, not far from city center and easily navigated by public transport. The concept is unique - staff was great and always helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet and safe. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable (softer) for our tastes, but overall our experience at Tomato was perfect! We just loved... More

Booked this stay as a stopgap place before moving to an apartment with friends the following day. Had to add my son to the booking and Annalisa was so helpful. The hotel is well placed to get around Turin, good places around to eat and drink. The room we had was clean and sufficient for us, the lobby was a... More

Really good location walking distance from Porta Nuova Station as well as all main attractions like Mole Ant. and Parco Valentino. Super friendly staff who speak English. Great room set up, really clean common areas esp kitchen. Kitchen in basement so can be a bit gloomy but has everything except oven. Breakfast could be better - just toast and coffee/juice.... More
