This hostel is just perfect! Having been to many places and stayed in many hostels around Europe, I have to say this one is in very high standard. The room is spacious and with bathroom (I tend to think the place is renovated from a hotel before), and it's spotlessly clean, which is the most important criteria to me. The... More

Dear Louis, thank you sooooo much for your review!!! Yes, this place used to be a traditional hotel before it became the Tomato Backpackers Hotel; that's also why every room has a private restroom. We're looking forward to host you again and we'll try to provide you an even better stay. Best regards, Tom More

It's a great place to stay! Central, easy access to public transport and approx 15min walk to airport bus stop. Very clean, very eco (!!!recycling is encouraged, there are recycling bins - paper, plastic, glass, on every floor) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was in 4bed dorm, very spacious with lockers, extra table and chairs, en-suite... More

Tomato turned out to be a great hotel:a kind en very helpfull staff, large rooms with good beds and a great atmosphere (and they have a great taste of music too). It's located near the centre of Turin in an upcoming area with lots of bars and restaurants wich are very popular by students and locals. And (dutch after all)... More

It's a very nice hostel, the attendants are very kind and eager to help. And it is well-organized indeed. The rooms are very clean and so is the bed linen. My room had a locker with a key for each bed. Check-out is at noon, but they let you use the common areas and the luggage room until the midnight... More

Excellent position, staff, prices (superhonest), services (everything you can reasonably need, including the use of the kitchen, which in Italian hostels is a rarity) and contest. It's clear that these guys are competent, intelligent and run the place with passion, not just for the money. I've been there several times and every time has been a pleasure. If you have... More

Tom, Annalisa and Benji are very kind. It's very close to the main museums of Turin [Egyptian Museum, Museum of Oriental Art and Museum of Cinema] and very close to Torino Porta Nuova Station. Free wifi and free internet point, but the most interesting thing in my opinion is that Tomato Backpackers Hotel is really eco-friendly.

I have been at Tomato a several times and it is like coming home. The owner and his staff are young, cheerful, helpsome and enthusiastic people who make your stay very comfortable and safe. From the first to the second time I was there, they knew me in spite of that was 2 years since last time. Fo a guest... More

Very nice, friendly people, made me feel at home. It was very clean as well! I was there with some friends for Salone del Gusto/Terra Madre for four days. It has a great place to hang out with friends as well. Good food and bars around the neighborhood! I would definitely go back there to stay

The best accommodation during Salone del Gusto. Super close from every transportation and in the nightlife zone of Turin. We enjoyed it and Tommaso has been a great host. Hope to be back there soon, maybe for next Salone!

Benji, Annalisa and Tom have all made my stay amazing. I twisted my ankle and was generally not able to do much. They all helped me with luggage, called me cabs, recommended things to do for me on my (lack of) mobility, and showed such warmth which I must say is not always typical in Italian hostels that I have...
