We stayed at the Tomato from 7th - 14th April as we were visiting family who lived in Torino. The accommodation was just what we'd expected, having read previous reviews; clean & tidy with very comfortable beds. The Tomato is situated within easy walking distance to lots of places of interest, (including the beautiful Valentino Park & Castle) lots of... More

Close to the Valentino's castle, it's a small hotel (some 10 rooms) owned and managed by friendly and young guys. Very affordable and appropriate prices. The rooms (and beds) are small but clean and comfortable. Wifi all over the hotel. Breakfast very basic and self-made, but OK. A lot of books and reading material in the hall making the ambient... We went for a week end and we booked a room for a couple. Everything was beyond expectation: The room was large enough and clean with a nice shower, the common area were also very recently renovated. We had one dinner in the hostel and we could use the fully equipped (also with a fridge) and very practical kitchen in... More

Tomato's is one of the best hotel/hostel I've ever stayed in. All the staff I came across during my stay were wonderful. One of them gave us recommendations for lunch & dinner, which turned out to be the best lunch (Teapot) & dinner (Coco's) we had in Turin. Thank you sooooooo much!!! We failed to notice the early check-out note... More

Tomato is just perfect for anybody coming to Turin and wishing to stay somewhere close to the railway station and the city centre for a reasonable price. It's really simple - the furniture comes mostly from IKEA, - but lively decorated with a great deal of humour. The inscription on the wall, 'Please don't play hockey during the night,' made... More

I would highly recommend this hostel! It is very clean, spacious, and in a great neighborhood. If you are a young traveler or a young couple this is a great spot! There are lots of great restaurants close by and is only about a 20 minute walk to the main sights of Turin. Tom is also very friendly and helpful!... More

Well how to describe a very nice stay with not overdoing it or seeming to get payed by the owner, which at last make no sense because I payed to stay sooo.... Nevermind. We all have some expectation during travel, influenced by various sources like friends, movies, advertisement and so on. Well in my personal imagination Italy should be full... More

We stayed at Tomato for 2 weeks, and had a wonderful experience. Tom, Annalise, and Ben who run Tomato are just amazing. They make you feel so welcome, will do anything for you. Their knowledge of the local area, Turin and Italy helped us immensely. The hotel is more than a backpackers, each room is of a good size and... More
