I should have listened to the other recommendations. I spent two weeks in Italy and experienced about 12 different hotels. This was, far and away, my worst experience. The hotel was undergoing some sort of renovation. As a result, the sign was covered with scaffolding. Despite repeated calls to the hotel asking for directions, I was only given the address... more

The hotel was awful from the start. After arriving exhausted in Torino, I had to wait outside the hotel from noon to 19:00hs because my room "wasn't ready yet". I should used this time to find another hotel, because things just went downhill. The room was tiny and murky, the TV didn't work and there was no remote, the window... more

We stayed overnight here on a train journey from Paris to the Cinque Terra and found the Due Mondi perfectly adequate. It was a good price, had a good breakfast and is very well placed for the train station and sights of the city. The only drawbacks were that our room had a balcony with a somewhat rickety railing and... more

I stayed here for 2 nights in June. The person who checked me in was extremely nice, but unfortunately, I never saw him again. The woman who I did see for the next 2 days was rude and patronizing (to guests and other employees). She had a nasty SHOUTING MATCH with a kitchen employee during breakfast one day, clearly within... more

We had a corner room with Balcony overlooking the street. Very large comfy bed, and squeaky wooden floor. Bathroom was OK. Breakfast intermittent with food appearing when requested of staff. Friendly Bar opposite with two resident transvestites outside.Convenient for sightseeing, close to shopping and Station. more

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Staff were not friendly or helpful; the owner, a middle-aged woman, was abrupt verging on rude; the (admittedly single) room I had booked was poky and gloomy - although described as 'single de-luxe'; the 'buffet breakfast' was laughable - hardly anything worth eating and the coffee was from a multi-drink machine which meant... more

I stayed here in July, my first night in Italy by myself- i found Porta Nuova scary enough, then as i took the short walk to the hotel i quickly became terrified. It was dusk and the streets were spooky. Not ideal for a solitary young woman with a heavy pack. Then i get into reception of the hotel and... more

This was by far the worse hotel i ever stayed in. It was a complete disaster. Don't know where to start, reception, horror, checked in some small FILTHY room. The room stank. The blanket was full of other peoples hair, stains, ... disgusting. The area is very scary, lots of drunks around. The breakfast in the hotel is a real... more

Although only about 1 short block from the train station, this is not a safe area for women alone. I am usually not too picky about where I stay, but this place was nothing like it looked on the web. My room was very dingy, although large, and had a strong smell of bacon..great in the morning, but not at... more
