Stayed here for 1 night and had to ask to be moved 3 times. The bedding smelled of smoke on all of them and on the first occasion, the room was a horrific blue and although it's hard to explain why it just gave off.. Bad vibes. Like something nasty happened there. It's a very old hotel and the main... More

I stayed here for 3 days. It's an old building but very charming inside. I had a budget room in the modern wing at the back: It was super clean, comfortable, functional and quiet with a large bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a superb breakfast buffet complete with rolls, ham and salami, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fresh... More

Hotel building is ancient, has all modern comforts including wifi, but still kept the cosy feeling of passed times. Very friendly staff, royal breakfast. Private car park in the court yard. Good location to visite the town.

Having arrived early for checking in (rooms are not ready until 3pm).We were greeted warmly, all the staff spoke excellent English, our bags were stored and a map and a few places to visit were provided until the room was ready. On our return bags were taken to the spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Everything that should of worked did.... More

This old Hotel, situated very close to the old City Center of Torino is a jewel! The Rooms aver simple but spacious. It is very quiet. Even it is possible to park your car inside the courtyard, because you can walk to all the most important museums, palasts etc. The breakfast is remarkable good. Some Rooms should been checked better... More

This hotel does what it says on the label - an old-fashioned hotel perfectly placed in the centre of Turin with helpful staff, a big, tasty breakfast and relatively spacious rooms (for Italy). We had a comfort room with a view out to the back courtyard, so there was no street noise. Unfortunately the cleaning staff are extremely noisy in... More

By chance (drove the car without much orientation through the historic district), we discovered this little hotel. It's in old walls and the saying goes, that Mozart himself once stayed here (he did not write a review but composed something instead). Some rooms are really " in old style", most are rather contemporary. Breakfast is not worth to mention. What... More

To start with the positives, the location is excellent and so was the breakfast. Now for the problems: - they refuse to even consider checking you in before 3pm (even though I later found that my booking confirmation said 2pm) - the staff are all polite but not at all friendly - all of the doors jammed and got stuck... For me, a short break hotel has to be in a good location for the sights and sounds of a city, and the Dogana Vecchia 'Mozart' Hotel in Turin is in just that. My chosen way to the hotel was by Sadem coach transfer which was 12 euros for a return trip to Porta Susa station, and then from there... More

Located very centrally. Great dining places just around the corner (regional cuisine) and a great coffee place next door - try the bicerin! Very helpful and friendly staff. Italian-style breakfast but great cappuccino. Breakfast room dedicated to Mozart who stayed at the hotel with his father. A bit of a Mozart cult... Rooms okay, standard category is truly basic, in...
