I stayed in Jolly Lingure for the second time this year and i have to say i was too kind of disappointed like my good fiend VonAthens.Jolly Lingure has the potential to be at the top of the city's hotels. It has an superb location as far as puplic transportation and local market is concerned, the building is quite old but very... more

Just a few days ago I stayed over at Jolly Ligure Hotel, Turin. Note that this was the third time I stayed there within the last year, due to business issues. During my first visit, I checked out filled with satisfaction, as the service provided was above the expected. The second time (around June), the service was equal to the... more

In the heart of the city. Sadly on business so no time to explore. Staff friendly, and appreciated my butchery of their language. Hotel is dated, as other reviews have stated, but that doesnt mean shabby. My room had a definite 70's feel, but it was fresh and looked recently (ie couple of years ago) decorated. Large clean bathroom. The... more

This hotel is located next to the railwaystation. However, the surrounding area is very nice and the hotel is on a big square bordered by cafes and chocolate shops. The main shopping street of Torino "Via Roma" also starts from that square. There is a metro station right next to the hotel. We got a very good rate for this... more

Well placed hotel but it's very tired and not cheap! Our standard room on second floor at back was very hot and the room temperature control didn't bring temperature down. It all got off to a bad start at check-in. Reception staff carried on an arguement as waited to sign in. Friendly staff might have compensated for a tired hotel... more

We booked the Ligure for the last night of our holiday but we were pretty stressed when we found it shut on our arrival! The hotel closes for a few weeks in August but didn't let us know about this even though we had paid well in advance for our room. We went to the Jolly Hotel 10 mins drive... more

Ii was verry pleased with the locatiion of this hotel and the great shopping/sightseeing in what felt like a very safe town. The staff"s recommendation for dinners were bang on. the cleaning staff was more than courtious. The most pleasant surprise was the full breakfast we received. As a four star hotel is is not aestetical at all, but for... more

What a wonderful place to stay. Right in the center of town. The staff was so thoughtful, helpful. I stayed five days and every day felt as though I was more welcome. Highly recommend. more

This is the 5th time I have stayed in this hotel for business in the last 7 months (both pre and post Olympics). By the third visit the problems that I had previously dismissed as a one off obviously apply across the hotel. Power points in the rooms are often not working, bulbs broken, tv reception is poor, bits really... more
