I stumbled across this hotel online and I would have to admit, the happy colours drew me. A wonderful feel, tranquil music in the lobby fresh and fun design in a building with character. Although the offerings are basic, for a single female traveller, it was just what I needed. Marco at the front desk was charming and polite and... More

Dingy and poorly decorated rooms. Carpet wanted a good clean. Poor breakfast. Our room had not been serviced by 6.30 pm and the cleaner had to be recalled from her home. Night receptionist did her best and was very pleasant. Male receptionist on day we left close to rude. Nowhere near the standard we have experienced at most Ibis hotels.... More

If one is expecting the Four Seasons, one will be disappointed. But for an Ibis hotel it is good value for an attractive price. Close to the railway station and tourist office, and not far from the sights in tiwn. We enjoyed the good breakfast. Maybe the one small elevator serving the 5 floors can cause delays, but I dont... Position is good and receptionists are kind, having saying that: This is an old building with a unique, old and slow elevator. The hotel has a lot of rooms in every floor and if you want to use the elevator you need something to read while waiting for it. If you travel with a baby stroller (or 2, like I... More

We arrived and were welcomed ok, we arrived 2 hours before check in, we were informed that if we come back in 1 hour a room would be ready - great, so we go back in 1 hour, sorry room not ready, so we go again and come back at the check in time and now they are not sure... More

Our room on the fifth floor was large and facing the courtyard made it quiet and pleasant. The staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfast provided very generous with a variety of options. Location close to the train station was a big plus and there were plenty of cafe and restaurant options locally, in fact we had a great... More

initially on arrival the reception was welcoming and had really good decor which i thought went well with the styles branding. however when you got to the room this was lost, it wasn't laid out in a nice way, bathroom was really small and dark, when it came to the furniture it didn't really match the styles brand but just... We arrived at the hotel 20 mins. earlier than the check-in time and were told our room was not ready yet. That was not a problem for us so we went for some famous ice-cream at the well-known "Grom" just around the corner. 45 mins. later our room was still not ready (?) and we had to sit in the... More
