I stayed here with my partner this month and our room was a little small but fairly adequate there definitely needs to be more storage though as there is only a very small cupboard for hanging clothes. The bathroom was lovely and the general feel of the hotel was really nice. The breakfast was adequate although slightly too normal. Very... More

We went to Orta for a wedding, and a friend suggested this hotel. We loved it. It was very affordable, especially compared to some of the other places in Orta. The staff was super helpful. We rented a garage from them for a rental car, they were responsive prior to the trip by e-mail answering all of our questions, and... More

From the outside if it wasn't for the unimposing board picturing the bedrooms you would never guess this is a hotel. My now husband and I booked the entire hotel for our families to stay in over the duration of our wedding weekend as there are only 10 rooms. Each room Is beautifully modern yet each have a quaint traditional... More

I still sometimes dream about our accommodation at Locanda di Orta. Centrally located in the immensely quaint village of Orta San Giulio, the rooms are everything you could wish for: super clean, fluffy bed, atmospheric lighting, great shower and the most amazing Jacuzzi in the bedroom. We had a day of rain while we were in Orta so we just... More

Boutique style hotel. Small rooms with no wardrobe or drawer in room 5. Needed to keep everything in suitcases, only room for one. Having said that the bathroom/toilet/shower was good and the room clean. Wifi did not function in this room. Was slow in room 2 also. Not good enough these days! Pleasant and welcoming staff. Good for a couple... More

The location is great and the personnel is very kind. I went there with my girlfriend and booked a suite. The room was very clean, simple but very elegant. Yes, the TV is small, but if you go to Orta you are looking for quality time, good food and a wonderful location. No need for a TV, in my opinion.

Our stay was spoiled by the very tiny room #8 that we were given in a nearly empty hotel and the receptionist who check us out. Rm #8 should only be used for solo travelers, it's simply too small for two people and it's the least atmospheric of all the rooms pictured on their website. It's inconceivable to me that... More

Room extremely small no room for luggage and wardrobe none existing. Breakfast a joke or if you need sugars and carbohydrates you are home. Buffet with no sneeze guards, bread that anyone touch for slicing. Basically not within and sanitary standards. Person at front desk had one standard answer " I do not own the hotel". Was waken up early... More

The hotel is well designed to fit a lot into a small space and they have done it well. The first challenge is getting to it, our sat-nav took our car to the back which is inaccessible to cars, there is a lift here, but you need to check in to get one. The front is accessible, but not if... More

The hotel is centrally located, giving good access to the town and lake. However, it has no parking and the nearest car park is at least a five minute walk up a steep hill. The parking is payable, though there are some free areas but the hotel did not tell us that. As others have said, you can drive to... More
