Very well maintained and managed. Lovely people, warm and friendly. Beautiful setting; fabulous food and wine. I do not want to make any criticism about this place but I would suggest installation of air conditioning at least as an option

If we have chosen this place between tons of nice ones for one of our most important days of our life there must be a reason... actually there are several! Here we are: - Patrizia, is an amazing woman with the sun in her eyes. She has made everythign simple since the first moment. If you are planning a wedding... More

My wife and I recently stayed here with our son and niece. Lelo, Patrizia and the other staff made us feel extremely welcome - taking care of everything we needed, putting out fresh breakfast in the mornings for us and helping make our stay enjoyable. I especially enjoyed our breakfast and lunch - made with the food picked that day... More

We stayed there for two nights. On the positive side, it is a nice property, well maintained, with a nice view, nice facilities (swimming pool, tennis) and their staff are helpful. On the negative side: the interior design is very heavy and pretentious(cluttered with antics), bedding is quite hard, room can be very hot and are difficult to ventilate in... More

We have just spent 4 days vacation in this beautiful, relaxing and welcoming place. This was our second visit and unlike the first round as a couple, this time we were two families with 5 young girls. Apparently we were the first guests of the new owners of La Violina and our visit was immediately after the renovating of this... More

The house is incredible, gorgeous features, beautiful views and wonderful facilities. The play room was a real hit as were the outdoor games and swings We were well fed on lovely home cooked fayre topped... More

From the second you pull through La Violina's large front gate, you're greeted by a trio of dogs wagging their tails and happy to see you. That's pretty much the vibe of the entire bed and breakfast. David and Carla (who speak English and French, respectively) are incredibly welcoming, but not overbearing, leaving you to relax on a hammock, a... More

I read about this reasonably-priced Agriturismo in the "Special Places to Stay" book. You must have a car to reach it, as it sits atop a mountain overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of the Piedmont area of Italy (a great place to stop on route from Switzerland to the Italian riviera). The wonderful hosts, Davide, Carla and thirteen-year-old son Alfredo... More
