All prior reviews are true: still the same carelessness with the passports, room and supper menu overpriced. A warm welcome indeed, help with the luggage. The location is stunning, rooms are very nice, especially the ones with a terrace. It's a 4 star "chabby chic" landhouse, not a 4 star hotel. Dog and cat running around, a bit sloppy here and... More

On Arrival we were greeted by Rosa assistant Manager, she was warm and friendly, we were given assistance with our bags and proceeded to check-in, our passports were handed to Rosa and we did not see them for another 3 days, our friends spotted our passports on the desk not locked for safe keeping, we found this a little disconcerting!!... We are touring around Piedmont and have found many lovely places. The stay here was nice, but value for money was not what it should have been :( I don't mind paying for a great place, but would think twice before visiting again.

It is difficult as a top contributor to be objective when other reviews have been so complimentary.A new lift has been installed to all floors but the housekeeping was only of a acceptable standard. The Manager was friendly but clearly the hotel ,part of a Swiss company attracted mainly Swiss Germans and in the rooms there was no English translation on... We stayed here for a week in August 2012. Attractive old mansion in the residential village of Villa, up a steep hill from Isola di Asti. Location stunning, looking out over the Piedmont hills. Small hotel, part of a Swiss owned chain, catering mainly to Swiss Germans. Room comfortable (all the rooms are individually furnished and vary in size, we... More

This is my second review of this hotel as I am a returning guest. Still delightful as ever with the most helpful And friendly staff. This year we have also enjoyed their dinners and found them quite nice in the MOST pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast around the garden and pool are also nice. They could use some air conditioning as August... More

In every aspect a piccolo paradisio! This gorgeous hotel is beautifully located on a hill with splendid views from the terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful and do everything to have you experience a most relaxing holiday. Breakfast and dinner are of high standards and while sitting on the terrace looking out on numerous vineyards, you really feel... More

A very nice restored house in the little village of "Villa", in the hills above Isola d'Asti. Beautiful view. Dinner outside at sunset is very romantic. We had a beautiful big room (Junior Suite) and enjoyed the friendly and warm atmosphere at this hotel. Great place to spend a few peaceful and relaxing days! Great breakfast, very good cooking (just... More

A beautifully restored villa resting high above with a beautiful view. Friendly staff, food nice and I cannot say enough good things. I will certainly return. An area in the middle of the wine country with a lot of fantastic restaurants.

We rented the whole hotel for 28 friends plus young children for my 40th birthday party. We and our friends enjoyed every moment of it, including the friendly and casual yet top quality service, food and beverage. The place is gorgeous and Peter and his team real top people making all guests feeling italian hospitality at its best.
