Very nice place to go for w-e in north-italy (piedmont closer to Turin or Milan area): http://www.villavittoriano.com/ It's in Loazzolo and it's a touristic area with a lot of restaurant with excellent wines, land of truffles (Loazzolo is about 30 mins from Alba and Asti)..
