This Bed and Breakfast was the gem of our month long trip in Italy. First off is the owner, Doreen. She is unbelievable--from the beginning of our 3 night stay until the end. When we arrived she had us sit out on the covered patio and gave us wine with fresh Italian cold cuts and cheese with jellies and honey.... More

We stayed here just abt 2 weeks ago.. Where do I even begin? View of the valley from the rooms, the house and the garden is stunning! The rooms are so tastefully furnished, well-kept and bathrooms are ultra modern. Its obvious alot of thought has gone into furnishing, designing & maintaining this place, from the 3 bedrooms to the kitchen... More

Doreen is a wonder. A friend and I stayed for 4 nights and I can't imagine how a stay could be better. The setting is gorgeous, the house is decorated in a very simple and beautiful manner, the bathrooms would be considered a treat in any country and the breakfasts are amazing! My only hesitation in giving such a great... More

My partner and I had a truly amazing 3 nights at this boutique B&B. A great stay started with the warm welcome from Doreen which included champagne and anti-pasti in her delightful outside dining area. The attention that has been put into the rooms is first class; our room had a small balcony so we could enjoy the wonderful view... More

We loved Casa di Maio! Doreen the host is absolutely wonderful. She looked after us so well, from the lovely wine on arrival to our superb breakfast the next morning. The room we stayed in was stunning. Beautiful decor, amazing large bathroom with view of the vineyards and an extremely comfortable bed. The location and scenery were just gorgeous -... More

This was my third trip to the Piemonte area and stay at Casa di Maio. After three trips my appreciation and enjoyment of the people, food and wine of this area continues to grow and continues to delight. Casa di Maio and its host Doreen continue to provide a genuinely warm, generous and impeccable experience. The rooms, setting and hospitality... More

My husband and I recently returned from our second trip to Casa di Maio in the past three years, and once again, were not disappointed. If you are interested in touring this region, with its incredible food, wine, scenery, etc. this is the place to stay. Casa di Maio is a small intimate villa, and well appointed with moden decor.... Picked based on reviews. We agree, top notch holiday, we enjoyed every moment staying at Casa di Maio. We brought our little dog and Doreen was equally sweet and helpful towards him. Everything in the house is so nice, fresh and comfortable. You have access on the ground floor to a modern kitchen, a big dining room and a relaxing... More

We stayed 3 nights with the beautiful Doreen in June 2011 during a driving holiday in Italy and France and were sorry to leave this little oasis of charm and elegance and Doreen's warmth and hospitality. The preceeding reviews are so glowing it is hard to embelish further, but Casa Di Maio was the best B&B we experienced during our... More
