I had a great stay in this hotel. Its location is fantastic, close to the train station however very quiet and only a five minute walk to the center of town. My room was on the ground level so I had no issues with there being no lifts. Room was pleasant and clean and the hotel looks new and modern.... More

The physical limitations of the building - no lift, small rooms - probably prevent this hotel from aspiring beyond the 3 star category. But it does its best: the decor is new, the fittings modern, everything is very clean. The breakfast is rather good - unlimited coffee, whole salami and cheese to slice as you choose, fresh rolls, croissant, biscotti... More

This is my fourth visit to pavia and my fourth stay at hotel aurora. It is a very well run establishment, that is good value and located centrally in town, just by their train station. It's very staff are all helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but clean. My family are looking forwards to our next visit later in... More

I stayed towards the end of October. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the station it could hardly be closer so it is in a very handy location. I had a single room - it was small but adequate and very quiet. Pleasant staff.

The hotel staff were very helpful to direct us to events and restaurants and ways of transport. Also on providing maps and other useful information. The rooms were sometimes only serviced in the late afternoon, which was a not good. Had to ask for clean towels twice aswell as a second set, as we had a double room.

We stayed one week in Hotel Aurora. It is a 3-minutes walk straight out of the train station, just behind Hotel Moderno. Our room was on the second floor, very quiet, and very clean. The AC is very good and cools the room quickly. Don't open the windows due to mosquitoes! My only complaint is a dearth of outlets. I... More

Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Recently renovated; the rooms are small but comfortable; extremely clean and quiet. Free wifi in the rooms. The buffet breakfast is pretty decent and the staff nice and helpful. The hotel is located very close to the train station and 15 minutes away from downtown by walking. Highly recommended.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Aurora and enjoyed it. Our room (room 33) had a tiny balcony, the only one I think, which overlooked the courtyard behind the hotel, local people's apartments also looked into this courtyard. The bed was large and comfortable. The decor was attractive and looked fresh, but they were about to repaint the rooms when... More

We stayed at the Hotel Aurora for an overnight stay in Pavia. The staff were friendly and let us check in a tiny bit early. A very short walk from the railway station and a short walk in to the town centre. Not the greatest value hotel I've stayed in but Pavia doesn't have a great number of hotels and... More
