Just got back from visiting my partners son and his Italian girlfriend in Pavia Italy. Stayed at the Aurora Hotel in Pavia. Very close to the train station and the town of Pavia. Very clean and tidy staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast very healthy (no fry ups)! drinks at the bar not too expensive all in all enjoyed our stay.... More

Nothing special, it's overpriced (worth 50-60 EUR) but the personnel is very friendly and location is good (few minutes walk from the historical center).

Although not located in the old city center, it's just a short walk away from there and in exchange for that you will get well maintained, clean rooms and friendly, personal staff.

The hotel is located almost directly opposite the station; which is a short walk from the city centre and the university. Rooms were clean and free internet is provided.

From the railway station it is a very short walk to the hotel. From there it is not much of a walk before you are in the midst of Pavia's very interesting centre - somewhere much under estimated by most tourists.
