We trudged through SNOW in Stockholm Sweden (6" of snow? on April 13th?) to get to bus to fly to Milan Italy. Drove south and started searching for hotels in Pavia. Only positive you can say about this hotel is that it has friendly staff. The toilet stank of urine. The hotel is definitively not 4 star. It is only 2 - 21/2 star. The blanket had a burn hole and some old chocolate bits stuck in it. The decor has not been changed since around 1970 and the room was... More

A bright and fresh hotel, just outside pavia. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was large, cool and well furnished and a mega-comfortable bed. My room faced out towards the back - residential area - and was exceptionally quiet. Strange wall coverings, though. They seemed to be of padded material.
