I just got back from a great visit to Pavia for a European project meeting. I stayed at the Rosengarten - it is very good value, with good food and very friendly and helpful service. I will definitely stay there again next time we have a meeting in Pavia.

This hotel is a very nice one and the staff is also nice. Sometimes it's a bit tricky to talk to them but they are usually fluent in english. That's a global problem in Italy. The rooms are big enough and the bathroom is clean and fresh. You can see that there's a cleaning service. The only weird thing is... More

I have just spent five nights at the Hotel Rosengarten with friends attending a family wedding in Pavia. We all found the staff friendly and very helpful, the rooms are kept clean and tidy. The restaurant and bar menus have a good selection, and we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and evening meal there. We will return to Pavia and the Hotel Rosengarten.

We chose this hotel for its price and because it was close to where our conference was being held. Our room was clean and adequate, with 2 single beds, a small desk and chair and a wardrobe with separate bathroom with tub/shower. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place. The staff (mostly family members) is friendly and accommodating.... More

This hotel comes equal first with the Holiday Inn High Wycombe, as the one of the two worst hotels that I have ever stayed in. It's in a run-down part of Pavia, close to the railway line - which you can hear all night and no-where near any nice places to eat. The room I stayed in was basic to... More

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. But the hotel is old and not so charming. But on the other hand, we knew that when we booked. The prize is fair and it is situated close to the station and central part of Pavia. You get what you play for. You will not jump as a kid, but... More

Stayed in this hotel on way to Milan, and thought it would be an opportunity to visit the city of Pavia. Hotel reminds me of old communist block hotel. While the rooms were clean and tidy and bathroom had good size shower the steel doors on each room are a bit off putting. One girl on reception was helpful but... More

I've stayed in Rosengarten Hotel for three days in September 2012. I recommend to everybody to stay there instead of a closer hotel (which are much more expensive and with less facilities). It's not so close to the train station-city centre, but it's just 10 min walking there or even best, borrow one of their bikes all day long, no... More
