Me and my family stayed 3 days at Genius and it was a wonderful time. Very good price/comfort ratio. Very well located, near Metro, near Catedral, near Sforza Castle, all at a walking distance. Rooms very clear, clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and a very good breakfast... Try it, you'll like it...

The location was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and nice and had everything that we needed (and it was cleaned every day). The breakfast was wonderful - there was a lot of choice (breakfast cerealsm sandwitch stuff etc) and they even prepared fresh omelet or scrambled eggs in addition to a choice of different coffees. There was little or... More

We stayed here on our last day in Italy, since we were flying out of Milan. We had spent 4 nights in Milan when we first arrived, so we picked this hotel for the location. The location is perfect for getting to/from the airport, as it is right next to the metro (you can either walk to Cadorna or take... More

We stayed at the Hotel Genius for 3 nights. The location was really great - walking distance from famous landmarks - Duomo - 10 mins walk, Castello - less than 5 mins, we even walked to Brera neighborhood - less than 20 mins. The hotel is close to Piazza Cairoli (1 small block) and walking distance (less than 10 mins)... More

Stayed here for one night as a last pit stop of our trip. The location is superb, a walking distance from Duomo and the castle with Cairoli and Cadorna stations close by. The staff was very friendly, room was quite recently renovated and the air-conditioner worked as it was hot hot hot outside. Had a good night of sleep as... More

Ideal location near Milan cathedral and the Castello. Rooms are good for 3*. Very helpful staff - printed a bunch of papers for no charge, and looked after baggage for half a day with a smile. Glitch was getting there by taxi from the Milan Central station - very narrow streets and driver seemed unsure how to get there. But... More

The front desk was very helpful in all aspects of our stay. The room was small, but very clean. The air conditioning worked perfect. Breakfast was includied in the cost and it was one of the best breakfast buffets we have seen. Muffins, fresh fruit, danish, omelets, coffee, juice and more. The elevator was quite small. We barely fit into... More

Really good location close to everything. I got one of the renovated rooms which was nice that was also very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was good but not so much choice. Very good and fair 3* with a reasonable price for the location. Plenty of restaurants close by. I totally recommend it.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip. Location is excellent; central and quiet. My stay was during the Milan Expo when hotel prices were sky high so paying €135 per night instead of €368 per night was quite a find. Staff police and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. This hotel charges for WiFi which is quite unusual these... More

I stayed for two nights and for sure i will recomend it to everyone that goes to Milano. Real good location, so you can walk to the main spots. The rooms were confortable, with good air conditioning and very clean. The only up grade i would sugest would be the free wi fi.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
