It's a typical simple hotel but it covers perfectly the necessary. We only stayed one night but that was the good thing about the location, we were able to walk one block to the main street of stores and that street take us to Duomo Milano, which is incredible and defined you have to see outside and inside, absolutely perfect,... Good: Nice room, very good breakfast, wonderful location; Not so Good: No Wi-Fi in the bedroom; we left very early in the morning due to the flight time and besides loosing the payed breakfast, didn't have anyone in the reception to check us out.

Very nice and calm hotel. Not big, more like a hostal in a quiet and beautiful street. Rooms are big and clean with tv and wi-fi. It' 15 min on foot from the Duomo. City center 5 min away. In the neighbourhood there are some bars, restaurants and shops.

i arrived via taxi from airport but did not realise distance (did not do my homework) and it was quite expensive. If I did it again I would go by train. The hotel is certainly in an excellent location, a few metres to the castle, tourist buses, tourist information, restaurants and retail stores. However, the hotel has no character, instead... More

Inefficient and rude staff. Wi-fi doesn't work, and the attendant and said that "once it was free wi-fi, there was nothing to complain about it" (excuse-me). Rooms are mediocre and breakfast offers mainly non-fresh food. Location is fine, but there are lots of hotels in the area, so you can find much better around. I will never come back. And... More

I like this hotel It's in a great location right next to the Castello and a metro station The single room I had was simple, efficient, and spotless with a nice wide and very comfortable bed and an efficient bathroom with lots of hot water The breakfast was excellent - with, oh joy, hard boiled eggs (I don't eat meat... The location of this hotel is very good because is closed to Dom, Scala and other atraction points in Milan and also to the shopping area. Room was clean but the view was very poor (we see only the fire stairs).

Stayed for one night, overall a good stay. Room was clean which is absolute priority for us. Breakfast was good. A choice of meats and cheese. The hotel is really close to the Duomo and all the restaurants and shops. The only downside for us was the shower as the shower curtain wasn't big enough to cover it, so we... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
