very nice hotel, very confortable and clean room. The breakfast was delicious. Around 10 min to historic zona. The price is reasonable. The amenities are great, just as I expected for an old and traditional small luxury hotel.

The hotel is a small luxury one, which says a lot about what it offers overall. The staff was amazing, very helpfull and kind. The amenities are great, just as I expected for an old and traditional small luxury hotel. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was very good! Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and spacious suite, delicious breakfasts and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. Good restaurants within minutes' walking distance. Gym a moment away. Lots to see within walking distance, including historic churches and the canal area. We'd love to stay here again.

The services of Front Desk is excellent. The guy help us to proceed the congestion fee for the Milan City. However, there is no valet parking as stated in Hotels.com You need to take 10 minutes walk to the parking area. The room is elegant but quite noisy if you open the window. Only continental buffet breakfast is served. Other... More

Petit Palais Hotel is an excellent hotel. Close to and in walking distance to the most of the city interesting sights and shopping area. The Hotel staffs are courteous and knowledgable about where to go and what to see. Received great shopping and restaurants referrals. The only draw back, this is my personal preference may not be applicable to all,... More

This is a Small Luxury Hotel not far from centre of Milan. On the inner ring road so road noise was evident although double glazing worked well. Beautifully decorated with period flair. We had a lovely bedroom/suite on the top floor with two small terraces, a marble fireplace and distinctive bedding. The bottle of Prosecco and bowl of fruit on... More

The hotel is quaint and located near the cathedral. It does not have a restaurant but it does serve breakfast. Staff is friendly. We stayed at superior places during our trip and this hotel is not of the same quality. We are only staying two nights and then we return to California. Ok for two days on our way home.

This was a nicely appointed and charming hotel. It was very convenient to many sites. The Hotel was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The hotel has lovely suites with two bedrooms and a sitting room. Bathroom was extremely roomy. Would definitely use them again.

This hotel is fairly local with easy access to the Duomo and we took the 94 bus to view The Last Supper. A little noisy on the street side, however the rooms are extremely large as it is a boutique style hotel with only about 20 rooms. reasonable price and the accommodations were very classy. The staff was extremely helpful... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
