Based on previous reviews we decided to stay at the AC Hotel Milano and we were very pleasantly surprised. Because of availability we were granted an early check-in. We were offered a full hot breakfast, fabulous, with great variety. The hotel is new, modern style, very friendly staff, clean, large comfortable rooms, great design bathroom, and very quiet, non-smoking with... More

Rooms were a good size but with wooden floors you could hear noise from the other rooms around from people walking around (in heels!). I booked this room with free wifi on Expedia but was told that this was only in the lobby and was only superior rooms that had in room wifi which was a bit annoying. bathroom was... More

I stayed here for five nights for a work trip last year with a few colleagues. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also quite conveniently located near the station. However, I had some concerns with the heating and ventilation in the hotel. My colleagues and I experienced bleeding noses and I had a... Stayed here for four nites on a business trip. The hotel is convenient to the Milano Congressi convention center. Just a short walk to the subway and a short ride away. There are two subway stops close by to get you around the city easily. The staff were friendly and efficient and most spoke English well. We're fast in checking... More

That is my second visit and the quality remains high. Everything just works, good service, clean and spacious rooms. What I would like to point out which uses the space in a perfect way and has for the standard exercise programm all you need with stae of the art machines.

1. Check-in: As we walked into the hotel, the only person who was standing behind the front desk just stares at us without greeting. I asked if it was AC Hotel Milano, and he answered that it was right. Of course, there was NO assistance with luggage. 2. Breakfast: Upon check-in, the front desk agent informed us of the breakfast... More

When I rate hotels, I give 5 stars for luxury hotels that go all out to ensure you have a splendid stay; 4 stars, for clean and comfortable hotels, usually with excellent location and value; 3 stars for a clean and comfortable hotel, but with certain basic necessities missing or with a bad service experience; 2 stars for suspect quality... Very clean and modern hotel. The rooms are large for European hotels. The location is super practical, a short walking distance to Porta Garibaldi train station - a 40 minute ride from Malpensa airport and also access to the subway system to go downtown. I'll definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

I was here for one nite with my wife. Its our first nite before the start of our week long Italy tour. Hotel is basically clean and room is spacious. A taxi to Piazza Duomo cost ard EUR15. A reasonable hotel for a short refreshing kind of business hotel I would say.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
