The setting and ambiance of this hotel is truly amazing. You are right by the Duomo and in the heart of Milan's historical, cultural and shopping centre. But all these were only the background to our stay at the Town House. Walking out to the balcony upon waking up and gazing at the truly stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II is... More

To start of, the location is great, however there isnt any security or a bell desk at the entrance, which is the back door. Adding to that, the hotel uses a password type of locks rather than cards, which i think makes it unsafe. The hotel also only contains one cheap elevator that is currently not working, which made me... More

Stayed for 2 nights early December 2015. Truly an amazing location in the heart of the tourist area of Milan with my room looking out over the Galleria albeit with a limited angle of view due to the constraints of the width of the window. Room was a good size with a small mezzanine lounge area accessed from a flight... More

Oozing understated quality. Real coffee in the room. Espresso on the balcony overlooking central Galleria a treat. Complimentary entry to Da Vinci exhibition. Walking distance to everything and able to get a head start on the masses. Not inconvenienced by some renovation activities. Single elevator a bit of anomaly for hotel. Seem trend with exclusive hotels not to have a... More

This is really such an unusual property in Milan You are right in the middle of the most gorgeous mall which is a gallery of finely tiled floors, walls and archways. Safe and welcoming, always ready to please or help plan your day. Well worth the price. Try to book by calling the hotel directly as they have big discounts... More

We stayed two nights in the hotel I will start with the Pros: - The location is PERFECT, just a minute walk and you're in the Duomo - The receptionists were really helpful and welcoming - For its location I believe the value of money is reasonable - Since I'm a coffee addict, there was a coffee machine in the... Located aspart of the elegant Galleria - this hotel is right in the heart of Milan - steps to the Duomo with finest shopping at the hotel's doorstep. Excellent staff and service. A room with a view the Galleria completes a perfect trip to Milan.

The Hotel is really Special, located right in the Gallery on the Piazza and next to the duomo. The only Trouble we had is to actually find the entrance of the Hotel, as the main door is located in a courtyard that is not well indicated (especially at night). In the courtyard, there is a doorman 24/7 that checks if... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
