I really liked it, very good for a last minute deal. The staff was sweet and understanding of my struggle and need for a room before check in time, they found me a room and it was not expensive at all.

If you are not expecting much, this one is OK. Its location is a plus but quite noisy at night. The shower was cold first day but warm enough next day. Don't know why. The guy at the reception was so rude and angry. He told us to wait 10min for checkin, we ended up waiting 40min. When we told... More

This is a purely a budget hotel where you may like to just leave your luggage and return only to sleep. For the price, the room was big, but the only drawback was the AC which never worked well. In Spite of repeated complaints, the people at the front desk failed to do anything. The hotel is located just walking... More

Hotel Gonzaga was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I was chosen as a last minute hotel next to train station, what a mistake. Smelled of smoke, noisy, shower does not drain. Upon arriving it looked like an office building with a so call hotel on the third floor. The desk staff was very rude and unwelcoming. We cut... More

Subject: Hotel Gonzaga Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy, Europe Title: Horrendous ID#: 294762679 Have traveled extensively for more than 40 years. I have never experienced such an encounter as that at the Hotel Gonzaga, whose staff apparently was trained by someone from the Neanderthal School of Management. The AC was negligible, and the shower did not drain properly. A word of... More

The hotel was not easy to find . Rooms were large but basic. The staff member when we checked in was very helpful but the night staff/ porter mostly sat on a couch in reception playing very loud music from the computer and sleeping on the couch. Even at breakfast in the morning the music was so loud the children... More

When we first arrived by train we walked towards the hotel, now that is the only thing that was convenient. First we couldn't find the hotel as this is in a business building. Then when checking in the staff struggle to find our reservation, also they are the most unfriendly, unprofessional staff. Then we asked if the room had air... More

Didn't feel like a real hotel. It was on the third floor in what felt like an apartment building. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was clean however we asked for a double bed and got two singles pushed together. The lights in the room were very dim. If you have troubles sleeping make sure you have... More

The staff was not easy to deal with, nor helpful. We checked in and told them two names the booking was under because we were not sure whose name it was for sure under. This seemed to be too much work for him to figure out and decided he needed to see my email from Expedia. When I showed him... More

My daughter and I made an error in booking this hotel while visiting the Expo in Milan. The check in staff were unfriendly and almost hostile. Our first room had a blown bulb in the bathroom. We were then given another room, which on entering was occupied by a couple in bed. The third room was poor. The AC hardly... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
