Room temperature was too much low and the convector did not work. After a night shower in the rain return to a cold room was not the greatest. Maybe checkin and checkout times should be more elastic (checkin: 2pm checkout:11am. Located less than 100 mt from the central station every place was easy to reach by tube and urban trains.... The only positive aspect of the hotel is that it is close to the metro station. As stated in the previous reviews,it is definitely not worth the money and staff are not professionals for a 3 star hotel as they claim. It should be a one star motel in my opinion.

First of all, I paid 150 Euros for this hotel, very close to the Centrale Station. Strategic location for a quick one day one night stop in MIlan on the way to Rome. That's it. There are a number of issues about this hotel: a. It is on the third floor of some nondescript building. You see nothing but industrial... More

i booked three rooms which were cancelled via email by the hotel at eight o’clock at the day of arrival... i even called in the afternoon and asked if everything was fine with our late arrival, the answer was "si, si, va bene, va bene"... i called and called, sadly the hotel didn’t want to keep the rooms reserved. they... I have had the most unpleasant experience with this hotel of Milan due to the lack of respect of the staff and the tax evasion they have done on my touristic tax. Foreword: my reservation was done through Expedia and everything is traceable. When I arrived to the hotel for the checking in I was asked to pay four euros... More

I really liked it, very good for a last minute deal. The staff was sweet and understanding of my struggle and need for a room before check in time, they found me a room and it was not expensive at all.

If you are not expecting much, this one is OK. Its location is a plus but quite noisy at night. The shower was cold first day but warm enough next day. Don't know why. The guy at the reception was so rude and angry. He told us to wait 10min for checkin, we ended up waiting 40min. When we told... More

This is a purely a budget hotel where you may like to just leave your luggage and return only to sleep. For the price, the room was big, but the only drawback was the AC which never worked well. In Spite of repeated complaints, the people at the front desk failed to do anything. The hotel is located just walking... More

Hotel Gonzaga was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I was chosen as a last minute hotel next to train station, what a mistake. Smelled of smoke, noisy, shower does not drain. Upon arriving it looked like an office building with a so call hotel on the third floor. The desk staff was very rude and unwelcoming. We cut... More

Subject: Hotel Gonzaga Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy, Europe Title: Horrendous ID#: 294762679 Have traveled extensively for more than 40 years. I have never experienced such an encounter as that at the Hotel Gonzaga, whose staff apparently was trained by someone from the Neanderthal School of Management. The AC was negligible, and the shower did not drain properly. A word of... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
