The location is optimal, however the room was too small for a 4 stars hotel, the bathroom was stinky, the temperature way too hot and the noises from the road quite unbearable. more
The Colombia Hotel is located within easy access to Milan's Central Station and had availability the Thursday and Friday nights required on a recent business trip. The hotel was a little basic but clean and offered a secure but slightly impersonal feeling. I had a non smoking room and it was OK.
This hotel has free internet access (1 pc) which I hadn't discovered the previous visit despite my fluency in Italian. Its a no frills kind of place but reasonable value for money on normal days. The rates do go up (as they are prone to) during times of the Fiera. I would recommend Hotel Columbia but not if you are used to staying at top flight hotels or trying to impress anyone.
