I chose this hotel largely because of its location and I was arriving Milano late at night. It was just a short 3 min walk from the Central Station. Contrary to reviews from other users about the noise from the train station, it was never a problem for me during my 2-night stay. In fact I seldom heard any noise,... More

Near the station but if you are a light sleeper, do not stay here! You can feel-not only hear!-every train passing! If you want to stay near the station, you'd better choose a hotel with many floors and not only one. The rooms are small and old- nothing to do with the photos.

See the pictures from management? Seem nice... Well imagine just the opposite! Our room was a four-bed room(two beds were in a closet!) but we were only two and we could hardly move! It had just the basic comforts, no elevator for your luggage, poor aesthetic and the noise from the station was constant even at late hours. I have... More

location is good if you plan to travel to other cities by train or use MRT to commute within Milan. There are other hotels nearer to train station than this hotel but it's not super far anyway so this is acceptable. Room is quite small than what i saw picture on website. Breakfast is quite disappointing. Staffs are friendly.

We stayed at Hotel Stazione for one night before making a trip to Tuscany the next morning. I personally loathe Milan but their airport is inexpensive to fly into - needless to stay, we weren't in Milan for Milan's sake. Just needed a quick pit stop to sleep, shower, and be on our way. The hotel is located very close... More

Pros: friendly, clean, well situated by train, helpful staff. Cons: walls and floors are paper thin do you will hear everyone else's noise. Subway rumbles constantly underneath for 19 hours per day. Not recommended if you want peace and quiet. You definitely need earplugs at this hotel. . ev

No luxury here, but it's clean enough and the staff are lovely. It wasn't cheap though and the initial experience was very disappointing, especially as we'd paid less the night before for a very much better hotel in Paris.

Great place near the train for budget minded travelers near central station. We stayed one night after a flight before we took a train to Florence. A block or two from the station. The room are up a few flights of stairs, but the staff will help with the luggage. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are basic, clean and for... More

We stayed one night in Milan and chose Hotel Stazione because of it's proximity to the Milan train station. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station and check-in was fast. As others have mentioned there is no lift at the hotel, however staff did offer to assist with our bags. All staff we encountered were... More

Clean, centrally located near the Central Station and the station where the busses from Linate and Malpensa arrive. Basic rooms, with a small bathroom. The room has a tile floor, so bring slippers if you want to walk around barefoot or for going to the bathroom at night. You have to walk some stairs to reach your room (no lift!).... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
