Town House 31 is a fairly expensive hotel, but you'll experience a very comfortable night with all kinds of little luxuries and take-home souvenirs that make us - several months later - still remember the hotel. Breakfast was good Parking is in a nearby garage that charges EUR 30 per night, which adds to the bill.

We had a confusing start to our stay at this hotel (we were told we had a balcony and moved twice to find a balcony before returning to our original room - non of the rooms we went to had a balcony and I'm still not entirely sure what happened!). One of the reception staff was very helpful when we... More

This was our final stop on a two week tour of Northern Italy. The main reason to visit Milan (in August) was to see the Last Supper and the Duomo. We spent three nights in two separate rooms. There is a lot to like about this hotel: - great location - friendly and accommodating staff - 20 minute walk to... More

Upon arival we were told an upgrade to a junior suite was provided. The suite was lovely, spacious, cool and the bed was superb. The staff at check-in was lovely and extremely helpful. We extended our stay with one more night. All of the staff were lovely, the courtyard was lovely in the evening for a nice drink before heading... More

This hotel was a surprise gem. A group of six of us on business stayed at this hotel for two nights. The rooms were sparkling clean, high ceilings with beautiful bathrooms. The weather outside was 90degrees f, the interior of my room was a cool and quiet respite. The staff was over the top accommodating to us each evening allowing... More

Stayed here for 3 nights Very friendly staff and beautifully done out hotel and lovely breakfast It is about a 30min walk to the centre so probably not so great with young kids but fine for us. Also we made the mistake of going to breakfast at 10am the first day, almost no food left or clean tables; as long... More

Too bad for us we went to Milan, inadvertently, during the Milan Furniture Show. We booked Townhouse 31 (actually Townhouse 33, its sister) because it was close to the friend we were visiting, so the location was good for us, but not so good for visiting Milan -- awkwardly neither far or close to city center. Walk or taxi? hmmmm.... More

Lovely boutique hotel with nice rooms (not spacious but ok). Nice outdoor area and good breakfast. Location is ok, around 15 minutes to the center by bus. Too bad for the continuous noise coming from the street and from the other rooms. A bad sleep night.

Fabulous ambience, excellent customer service, great breakfast, good location. Walls are paper-thin, lack of ventilation in rooms, housekeeping would unlock balcony access to room (giving neighbor full access to our room and belongings) during service, beds need to be replaced. Would be a high 4 star if those flaws didn't exist. Great value but might not return. Not fun to... More

We recently spent two nights at this hotel and the room we stayed in -- the yellow suite -- was a disaster. Form over function everyone you turned: no hooks for towels in the ultra-trendy bathroom, subpar lighting, hangars you couldn't remove. Worse of all, the bed frames are designed so that you invariably hit your head when getting into/out... More
