Hotel Romana Residence was a lovely hotel to return to each night after a big day out. Our room was clearly newly renovated, so was very comfortable and pleasant for the 3 of us (my parents and myself). The breakfast on offer each morning is one of the best breakfasts I've ever experienced at a European hotel. In a beautiful... More

Stayed 4 nights, clean and friendly front desk (Lorenzo). Called days earlier for directions via train from the airport, and he was very helpful. Same when arrived, he was extremely helpful every time. Block from the train station if your not up to walking. Was told upon check-in that when we booked we did not book with breakfast and offered... More

On June 20, 2014, my husband, children, and I spent the evening at Hotel Romana Residence. Several days later my parents and cousins stayed there as well. We loved the proximity to the Doumo, thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Isola del tesoro restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, and were pleased to be able to park our rental car on property.... More

First of all is rude front desk personnel. Second is the surprise when you sit down for breakfast and start eating and are then presented with an 18 euro bill person. The internet here is terrible. Off then on and back and forth. On first floor be prepared for loud subway noises. There are better places to stay for the... More

Although the hotel lobby looks nice, rooms do not keep the same standard: in few words, the hotel does need an extensive refurbishment. Moreover, the staff was not as kind as expected. In spite of such evidence, the hotel is conveniently located, being close to the Metro (line 3) and at walking distance from the Duomo. Finally, I paid €... More

We stayed at the hotel in early summer with our toddler. We were upgraded to a suite right away, which made our life much easier! Great location, easy to explore the whole city by foot! Yes, this is not the newest or poshest hotel, and some thing really could do with some works, but for the price we were very... More

This hotel is reasonably well located at a 15-20 minute walk from the Duomo. The room - on the small side - was tidy and clean. The safe in the room which indicated a "low battery" error was fixed promptly. And that pretty much sums up the positive side of our experience with this hotel. Air conditioning in the room... More

Great location just 1 minute walk from the nearest Metro Station and around 15 minute walk from Piazza Duomo. We booked a 4-adluts room and we were happily surprised to get an appartment (!!) fully equipped with 40 inch plasma TV, 2 bedrooms (the one with TV) 2 bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen! Great breakfast and helpful staff at the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Very comfortable hotel. Handy for visiting all areas of the city and a 40 minute taxi journey from the airport. Takes a bit of time to get your bearings. Staff helpful in organising taxis and stories g luggage.
