Hotel Romana Residence is a good hotel in a convenient location. The room was clean, reasonably big, with high ceiling. Hotel located 15 minutes walk to the Duomo. Metro, tram and bus stops are only 2 minutes from the hotel. Restaurants and cafes are nearby. Grocery store "Carrefour Express" is 5 minutes walk from the hotel (Via San Senatore 16,... More

This is a nice hotel in a good part of Milan. A metro stop on the 3 Line is just 50 meters from the hotel and the Duomo is only a 10 minute walk. There are several small restaurants and cafès within a few blocks of the hotel. Check in was easy and the rooms are cleaned and nicely proportioned... More

This hotel has a fair bit going for it: it has a good location, is quiet and clean, has very good service and has a very good breakfast. However, I suspect that the rack rates may be a bit high and maybe a smidgin excessive -- I got a good price from Priceline.com and hence the hotel was a very... More

This was a real disappointment after having so many wonderful hotel experiences all over Italy. The room was very old and tired, and the mattress sagged so badly on the edges that we both thought we were going to fall out of bed. The shower had very low water pressure. And we went down for breakfast after we were told... More

Hotel Romana Residence was a lovely hotel to return to each night after a big day out. Our room was clearly newly renovated, so was very comfortable and pleasant for the 3 of us (my parents and myself). The breakfast on offer each morning is one of the best breakfasts I've ever experienced at a European hotel. In a beautiful... More

Stayed 4 nights, clean and friendly front desk (Lorenzo). Called days earlier for directions via train from the airport, and he was very helpful. Same when arrived, he was extremely helpful every time. Block from the train station if your not up to walking. Was told upon check-in that when we booked we did not book with breakfast and offered... More

On June 20, 2014, my husband, children, and I spent the evening at Hotel Romana Residence. Several days later my parents and cousins stayed there as well. We loved the proximity to the Doumo, thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Isola del tesoro restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, and were pleased to be able to park our rental car on property.... More

First of all is rude front desk personnel. Second is the surprise when you sit down for breakfast and start eating and are then presented with an 18 euro bill person. The internet here is terrible. Off then on and back and forth. On first floor be prepared for loud subway noises. There are better places to stay for the... More
