We stayed three nights at this hotel. We were given a suite that was comprised of a living room with TV, hallway, large washroom and bedroom. It was nice given that were there for several days. The rooms are in good condition. We arrived late at night and the man working the reception was able to find us a restaurant... More

We could not fault the staff or the position of this property. We were given a large room at the back of the Hotel after a long flight., and never found noise an issue, but you must remember you are in the middle of a large city. Check in was effortless and the staff were extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions... More

The hotel was quite clean and the bed comfortable to sleep in. Despite double glazed windows this hotel is quite noisy. Breakfast was below average - nice continental with eggs & bacon, but cold coffee was a let down. Staff were pleasant to deal with.

Pro * Very spacious room, nice classical furniture * Working air conditioning * Parking is easy to access * No noise from other rooms * Ok breakfast, though may be a bit boring for longer stays Con * Wifi login page takes ages to load. The password sometimes doesn't work, you need to retry. * A bit of street noise,... More

This hotel has a four star rating, which I believe makes it over-rated - it should be three stars. While breakfast offers a wide selection of dishes, & the staff are happy to replenish those which disappear quickly, the rest of the hotel is a bit of a disappointment. Our room was small & sparsely furnished, & while we were... More

We were looking for a centrally placed hotel for a 2 night stay - The Hotel Romana was perfect for that. It's 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, which is the very centre of Milan, the rooms are very clean, air conditioned and quiet. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient but impersonal. I don't know Milan... More

Hotel Romana residence was not the 4 star hotel that I was expecting. While it was close to the metro and trams, making it convenient and accessible, the service was quite disappointing. The front desk staff were not welcoming at all, if anything they looked quite unhappy - not a smile on any of their faces. When seeking assistance from... More

Stayed at this hotel with my family (including toddler) in June 2014 for 4 nights for a conference. We had a very large room with 2 separate rooms which was very nice. We were on 6th floor and you can hear quite a bit of traffic as hotel is on major road, but this was ok. Staff very friendly and... More

Very clean room lovely decor cleaners very efficient as every day had new towels and sheets. Breakfast was lovely good choice and pots of tea, very rare in Europe. Good location as close to Metro and 10 mins walk to Duamo Cathedral. Staff spoke good English which is always very helpful. Hotel on main road but even though our room... More

I went to Milano for work and this cosy hotel is near the university and at the same time not far from all the attractions of the town. It's a quite hotel with friendly and helping staff. The rooms are nice and spacious.
