It's rare for a hotel to contribute so substantially to your good feeling about a place as this one does -- so much so that I want to go back to Milan, just for the pleasure of staying here. Beautiful rooms, with possibility to cook, outstanding breakfast, set in a garden created on a second floor in the middle of... More

What a lovely place. We stayed in the Oaxaca room, which is one of two rooms essentially built onto the terrace, so that we had the garden directly outside and a little outdoor seating area. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, with kitchenettes and Kiehl's bath products. Our room was very quiet, a calm, cool (notable in this crazy... More

After dragging a case with a wonky wheel from Pta Garibaldi station on the hottest day of the year, I arrived very hot & bothered. The delightful Catherine came down & carried the darn thing to the 1st floor of the characteristic Old Milan apartment building to the 1st floor & the sanctuary of La Favia. I soon had a... More

Great location for exploring Milan. Trams right outside and metro a 10 minute walk. The owner is a very welcoming host and really helpful in terms of local knowledge. The B & B is stylish and comfortable. We stayed in room 3 (Oaxaca) which feels cocooned in the lovely garden terrace. The terrace is great for relaxing in the sunshine... More

LaFavia is in a great location - just outside the touristy area, but still close to everything (about a 15 min walk to the Duomo). Fabio is a wonderful host & went out of his way to help us, from flexible check in times to letting us have our room a bit longer to have a shower prior to departing... More

This is beautiful boutique hotel away from the tourist hype but close to everything.I stayed at LaFavia 4 rooms for four days after spending 4 nights in a more expensive but sole less apartment a few blocks away. Fabio made me feel at home in his warm welcoming B and B. tucked away in a typical milanese apartment block. Breakfasts... More

We stayed 7 nights in May using Milan as our home base to tour northern Italy. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. We truly felt at home here and enjoyed returning after our dally adventures. The room was very comfortable. The surroundings were lush and we felt very private and safe. Fabio and staff were friendly and attentive.... More

I NEVER drink out of the glasses in a hotel room, I did here! The rooms, lobby and common area were very clean! While the rooms were small (which is common in Europe), Fabio efficiently used every bit of space in the room. Our room even managed to fit a small cook top. Our only regret was that we only... We were just here for one night but wish we were there for more. Fabio met us upon our arrival and gave us a glass of wine and some chips while we went over the details of the property. Everything has been very recently been redone and it has a stylish new feel. Complementary Nespresso machine was a nice touch.... More

We loved Fabio's B&B and can only echo many of the sentiments expressed in other reviews. It is in a really good residential location - away from the school parties and tourist groups that flock around Duomo, but within a 20 minute walk (or 10 minute tram ride) of the city centre, La Scala etc. It is close to Parco... Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
