We were warmly greeted when we arrived at the apartment. The gentleman was very helpful in answering any questions we had in finding out more information on what to do for our stay. The apartment was very spacious. The only complaint would be the upper loft bedroom was very warm to sleep in during our stay. The air conditioning worked... More

Good hosts, knowledgeable staff. Only issue is access when you arrive for registration. The access and absence of elevators make it difficult. In summers, especially in 2015, the rooms can get hot even with ac and mosquitoes. Request for a fan from beforehand. All of the shortcomings more than made up by hospitality of hosts :)

Good location. Big apartment. Suitable for family with children. Only problem was with bad TV signal, but when you are in city like Milan you dont have time to watch Tv. The big advatage is private parking in residence yard. The staff was verry polite and helpfool, and English speaking.

We stayed here on the tail end of a trip to Europe for only one night. We would have loved to stay longer. The attention to design in this Residence is without question, the best I have observed throughout my stays in Europe. I felt like I was living in an Ikea display, from the light fixtures down to the... More

Great location, 15min walk to Duomo and city center, clean and comfortable duplex apartment. Nice staff, willing to help. Parking on site. Only thing I didn't like is poor wifi signal. I personally recommend this Residence if you want to stay close to Milano center.

For work we have to visit Milan for Design Week in April every year so our days are long and busy. It is always a struggle to find good accommodation that is centrally located allowing us to move around the different districts of the city and visit the various events that are on during that week. I discovered La Dimora... More

A very nice apartment centrally located in Milan. Ideal for a city break for a small family or a couple. a spacious terrace and a secure parking round up this offer. On the negative side: although the WiFi signal has been very strong, the connection quality was pathetic.

This was a very spacious and well-maintained place. We loved the area -- lots of the sites were in walking distance. The one thing I wish worked out better was the wifi. We were trying to look up stuff for the rest of our trip and the router was located just outside our flat door, but barely gave us a... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
