We stayed with family . It is friendly for children also. Staff was cooperative. Charge for left baggage should not be there as tourist have different time of their flight. Overall it was satisfactory .

If you wanna have living quality, this is not the place for you. But it is totally fine for backpackers. The hostel is quite far from Milano Centrale. Even if you take metro it is in the midway between 2 metro stations. Taxi from Milano Centrale is around EUR8.5. Around 8 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station. Staffs are... More

Dear Issac, maybe you used the green subway line (8- minutes walk from us, as you said), but if you want to go to the Central Station you could use the more handly yellow subway line: this Metro Station (Turati) is no more than a 2-minute walk from us and it reach the Central Station in just 2 metro stops... We stayed here for a weekend in mid-June. Excellent position only 2 stops from Milano Centrale station and only 20 min walk to the duomo through the Brera district. Staff were helpful and well organised with check-in and check-out taking only minutes. Breakfast was not included but there are bars just around the corner. Our room was comfortable and clean... All I can say is this hostel is absolutely disgusting and the staff is VERY rude. They got upset with our group because we left our bags out in our room and had a piece of clothing on the floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not will I ever stay here again, I would rather sleep under... More

Their website and the information on booking sites is deceptive. They do not offer laundry service. They do not have a fully equipped kitchen (no microwave, no refrigerator, no dining utensils, no knives or cooking utensils, terrible pots and pans). Additionally, the elevator and the AC were both broken despite it being quite hot. There are also lots of hidden... More

If you are on a budget, this should be fine. Nothing fancy at all. Bring your own towels, soap, shampoo.... They will only give you two sheets (bed sheet and blanket) and pillow. No breakfast too. Staffs are NOT friendly at all so don't expect any warm welcome from them. Just smile and enjoy your vacation, don't let them mess... More

The location of this hostel is absolutely brilliant. You can walk to the Brera arty quarter in 10mims (and go to the Market via San Marco) or go for a nap in the parco Sempione. Now to the bad bits of this hostel: the staff was very arrogant and unfriendly. I stayed in many hostels but I've never been received... More

My experience at the Monastery Hostel was amazing - the staff was incredibly accommodating, the facilities we clean and well kept, and the hostel itself is located within a stone's throw of a lot of Milan's major tourist attractions (I walked just about everywhere, using the subway system only when my feet got too weary). Also included in the price... More

On arriving the staff were very efficient, the room however was dirty, the mattress was filthy and the air conditioning only had one setting which was hot. The showers was ok but the bed left me itching. The breakfast was one croissant and a coffee from the vending machine. Efficient staff and excellent location but would never stay here again.... More
