We love this hotel! Practically next door to the department store and 20 steps away from the Duomo. If you are here for the sole purpose of shopping, this is really great. There is no parking and we had a big van with us. The hotel helped us park the car nearby but for Euro45 per night! But it would... More

The Gray is a five star rated hotel at the heart of the city literally a few meters away from the Galleria. Five star shouldn't mislead you for it doesn't have an indoor pool/ spa or even a gym but the location and service offered are good reasons to seriously consider staying at this hotel. There are various type of... More

Two minutes walk to the Duomo, so location doesn't get more central than that. The hotel itself was just ok, less so for the price. There's considerable adjacent construction going on, so check before booking if you can.

just a couple of meters from the Doumo you will find this great hotel. The location could not have been better, almost on the Doumo square, within easy reach of the Metro, you can reallly discover Milano! The staff is very friendly and helpfull, they park your car (if you come by car ofcourse ;-). The rooms are big, excellent... More

Upon arrival early in the morning, we didn't receive a great welcome. Rooms have a lot of wear and tear, everything is old and not attractive anymore. Location is perfect at the entrance of Galleria Vittoria Emmanuel. For me this is not a 'Small Luxury hotel' or a five star hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel is very dark and... More

It is ocated at only 100 meters from il Duomo. It is a boutique hotel that started quite well years ago. I have been at the Gray many times but this is my last time. The bathrooms need urgent maintenance, they have bathtubs with no protection so, if you decide to take a shower you flood the bathroom, it is... More

The Gray is a very stylish and highly sophisticated boutique hotel just 32 steps beside the dome and 34 steps a way from the famous shopping mall. It takes 3 min to the main entrance of the scala and the lavish shopping roads are just around the corner. No wonder the central location demands a price that is above oridinary... More

The Gray is a small luxury hotel with a friendly atmosphere where the staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms, a modern European style, are well appointed despite the limited space of the building. Internet access is easy and unlimited. Breakfast is also very good. In addition, like most of the other reviews, we really appreciated the hotel is located in... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A gem of a hotel in the heart of Milan, where stunning contemporary design meets sophistication and comfort. The Gray, with just 21 individually decorated rooms, is an intimate property full of style, an d includes an atmospheric restaurant, a cosy bar and bedrooms, some of which have their own private gym. Smart, witty design elements throughout add to the sense of elegance and comfort. Deep chocolate browns contrast with crisp creams, geometric lines are softened by colored lighting effects, while bright colour accents, such as the suspended fuchsia swing in the lobby, enliven the ambience. An afternoon of sightseeing could not be easier as the Duomo is literally at the end of the street and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is in front of the hotel. A five-minute walk takes you to the fashion district around Via Monte Napoleone. Return to the hotel for delicious Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant before heading to the opera. The Gray is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property. ... more   less
