A beautiful bargain! As noted by other reviewers, the Antica Locanda Leonardo has a good location, almost in sight of the Santa Maria delle Grazie housing Leonardo's last supper. I found the staff very competent and knowledgeable. Also, after having cold cuts for breakfast all over Italy, a breakfast buffet of delicious omelettes and a salad with oil, garlic and... More

pldfashioned veautiful hotel near Leonardo's frescue! Perfect location & beautiful style. Hotel is in the old building, & not very freshly renovated. It is a charm, but also it is a reason of noisiness from the other rooms & not very good closing windows. If you like charm of old buildings as we are its a nice stay!

The hotel is located a short walk from the Cadorna train station (very convenient if heading to Malpensa Airport) and is only a block from the church featuring "The Last Supper". The staff was welcoming, sweet and helpful every time we interacted with them. The rooms are on the smaller size but have everything you need. Quiet with nice breakfast.... More

I gave this five stars because of the fabulous assistance by the staff, especially Paolo. They all went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated with antique style furniture, although the showers were quite small, as is to be expected in many European hotels. It was quite... More

This hotel’s location is excellent. It’s situated less than a minute’s walk from the famous Santa Maria delle Grazie church and Da Vinci’s Last Supper, and is in a very elegant, central area. Once we were told by the receptionist that we had to book to see the Last Supper and that it should have been done a long time... More

We stayed in this small locanda recently for four nights recently. We had paid extra for a “garden view room”. We could see this garden if we looked obliquely through the window over the air conditioning machinery for the adjacent building. We could not open the window because of the noise from this machinery. With the window closed the noise... More

Antica Locanda Leonardo is a small establishment (only 15 rooms, I believe) with small spaces--a cramped erection room on the first floor, tiny sitting area on the second, and small rooms with little space to sit and chat. But the decor and the service make it feel as though you are visiting in someone's home. The staff is absolutely charming,... More

Perfectly situated for visiting the Last Supper and for transportation to Piazza del Duomo, this is a very moderately priced hotel with extremely friendly staff. Breakfast, included with the room, was lovely, and the personal greeting every morning with freshly prepared cappuccino or espresso was a perfect start of our touring day. Rooms were clean and kept that way, beds... More

Great place, very well situated for Last Supper (tip you really really need to book in adavnce for Last Supper but if you haven't, try turning up by 8am and que for returns and you might get in). Lovely court yard garden, really nice owners and really great breakfasts. I would recommend to friends.

This March, I came to visit a friend who recommended this lovely hotel near her house where I stayed for 3 nights. It really was a great suggestion! I really loved the elegant, peaceful location (which I wasn't expecting at all as it’s in a very central area). The friendliness of the staff is also worth a mention, they were... More
