Having read all the good reviews of this hotel prior to our trip, we arrived at the Antica Locanda Leonardo with high expectations and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by pleasant staff, smooth check-in and personally escorted to our room. The hotel location is great, very close to Cadorna Station,( for those who need to take the express train... Stayed for 2 nights whilst at a conference in Milan. Slightly quirky, with a complicated entrance but very pleasant room and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was less lavish than in a grand hotel but perfectly adequate. I will stay here again if visiting Milan on business (or pelasure).

With all of the good reviews I was a bit shocked when staying 2 nights at the hotel. We spent 30 days in italy and were flying out of Milan and wanted to see the Last Supper painting. The location of the hotel was perfect for this, and thats about it. We stayed in room 12, bottom floor. You could... More

Super location, walking distance to the train station and the center of town. Very friendly service that aimed to please. Although the room was very small, it was very nicely furnished and was modestly fancy. This hotel is an excellent value for the price. I payed roughly $100 US for a single room for the night.

I'll start with the good - the location of the hotel is great, and just down the road you have a UNESCO world heritage site in The Last Supper, and it's a fairly nice walk into the city centre, and it only takes about 20 mins to get to the Duomo. The room itself was very nice, although mosquito blinds... More

Stayed here as wanted to be closer to city center - location is convenient both to explore center and go more distantly (tram stop near entrance, short walk to metro and Cadorna rail stations). It's next to church with Leonardo's Last Supper - but book it well in advance. Hotel sign is small and hotel's not facing the street -... More

We stayed in this delightful boutique hotel for 3 nights and were really impressed with peace and comfort that it offered. We chose a room with a balcony which was clean, has a great bed and was a good size for a hotel in a major city. The staff were charming and helpful and the breakfast was both tasty and... More

We stayed in the hotel for three nights whilst attending a conference and it was the perfect antidote to the sterile business-traveller types of hotels we often encounter - giving it more of a holiday feel. For those who prefer a McDonaldised holiday where all hotel rooms are identical and the breakfasts are standard, this might disappoint, but to us... More

In spite of the elegant sheets and the garden, I regret to write that the service of the person in the bar is really poor. I had to leave early to go to renew my passport and I when I came back to the Locanda to pick up my luggage I realized it was 9:50 am ( breakfast is till... More

Best value for money. Small, cozy, solid 3 stars. Rooms are small, a bit warned out but for the money we paid (100 eur/night) are perfectly OK. We had double with our own garden (it is not a garden it's just a small backyard with a couple of palms but it is nice), look for it! Breakfast was on a... More
