Good Points,The Location of this hotel is good near the station and a few minutes walk from the attractions in Milan, the hotel is surprisingly clean, and the towels are changed every day. Bad Points, This hotel needs updating badly, it is very much like the 70s, I think that was the last time in was decorated, the main problem... More

This hotel is rip off! The pictures are far away from the reality! We booked 2 nights, but in 2 separate bookings. We booked a twin room (2 beds), ticked the quite room options and the balcony. They confirmed the booking. On arrival we got a double room with a promise of a twin room for the 2nd night. It... More

(1) Misleading: Booked the room by hotels.com. According to the description, the room has air conditioning, direct-dial phone, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, minibar and television. But none of them could be found during my stay. Was told by staff that extra cost of is needed for a room with A/C. (2) Wi-Fi: Couldn't get online even though staff confirmed the... More

The hotel is near the center and station, nice and clean for a one star hotel, breakfast included, you can keep your food in the fridge as well (like a yoghurt). Only one minus is the walls - you can hear everything that is in the next room...though I can sleep even with people talking but my mother was a... More

Hotel Verona is simply a decent budget hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is O.K. There's no question it could use some cosmetic fixes but those can be easily overlooked if you'd prefer to spend your cash on the fabulous food and sites in Milano. The highlight of our morning/stay at Hotel Verona was... More

Great cheap place to stay in the center of Milan. For those who love the chic, not particularly fit. Pleased with the hotel receptionist. Very friendly. Over breakfast taught how to drink coffee, and talked about the difficult situation in Italy.

Its an average hotel, 10 mins walk from the main station. The hotel is on the first floor and no elevator. Its on the main road and you might not get a proper sleep if you can not take noise during sleep. The hotel staff was helpful but the breakfast was better than average. I would recommend this to someone... More

Stayed here when visiting Milan for the Celtic Champions League game and hotels were at a premium. Paid 92 euros for a single room with an ensuite and shower. To be fair the room was tidy enough but a bit dated and the toilet was functional without any pomp. Breakfast was included which was a nicely made coffee, cereal, brioche... More

Thank goodness we only booked one night as a stop over between Florence and Turin. Paint and plaster falling off the walls (room 44), shower head won't stay on it's hanger (big hole in tiles where shower head used to be). Asked for extra pillows, told not allowed as we had 2 in the room and there was only 2... More

We stayed there two separate occasions during our trip to Italy, the 2nd time was much better (due to staff, room size, bathroom, and room itself). They don't have maps of the city, which is inconvenient. The staff was helpful, but you can't take them with you while you're walking around. They helped bring the luggage up the stairs (no... More
