We were touring the Italian Lakes but had always wanted to see Da Vinci's last supper in Santa Maria Delle Grazie in Milan, so we booked 2 nights in Milan at the end of our tour. We had been to Milan 41 years before and therefore, wanted something central. The hotel is within a short walking distance from La Scala.... More

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and as always were not disappointed. This hotel is in the perfect location for walking into the centre of Milan. When we arrived at the front door we were not sure about the look of the hotel but once you press the intercom and you are greeted and taken upstairs... More

Small sign on old palazzo indicating hotel within - up a few stairs, TINY elevator to Piano Nobile: reception. Very stylish reception area and breakfast room. Our room had a fabulous terrace with umbrella table and beautiful planting. The room itself was smallish; this was compounded by a lowered ceiling which was 'fabulously' decorated/painted a la Klimt. (An adjacent room... More

Stay here! Besides the fact that we had he most charming, sweet room with an awesome mostly private balcony and an amazing breakfast of the freshest breads, juices, ham, cheeses and fruit, the owner and staff were accommodating beyond words. They catered to our every need and want. They had exceptional wines to choose from and one that I am... More

Not your run of the mill touristy hotel. Strategically located near 4 main attractions in Milan; the Train station, the Duomo, LaScala Opera house and the Castello Sforzesco; all within a 10 minute walk. Charming and off the main street, it is quiet, the rooms are clean but sparsely furnished and the breakfasts are delightful. Staff is most accommodating and... More

As others have noted, the location on a quiet cross street put you within walking distance of the majority of sights, restaurants and shopping. I did not have much free time on this trip so it was convenient to take just a few steps in any direction and be right in the middle of the action. Stayed 3 nights in... More

Nice little hotel, classy yet simple mediterranean deco - our room had a terrace. Great location to walk around town. There is a parking lot not too far if you drive in, else it's less than 10min walk from Milan main train station.

Close to the Duomo and within walking distance of the principal sights of Milan, this is a greta small hotel. Friendly staff and excellent rooms. Can be rather difficult to find, as it is in a small side-street, but has a very convenient location. Good rooms, some with roof terraces - good place to have breakfast.

It's hidden away down a tiny street in central Milan but is a jewel if you like something a little different. Be warned you have to get your luggage up a small flight of stairs into the miniscule lift - reception is on the 1st floor. But the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful.... More

This is not the hotel to arrive at in the Milan rush hour, tired and stressed after being stuck at the Mont Blanc tunnel for two hours. The position that makes this hotel great for sightseeng makes it very difficult to find with your car. It is on the tiniest of one way streets and unloading blocks the traffic (the... More
