There was a time when 3* hotels were considered a good choice for travelers that were looking for a hotel offering services with an intermediate level of quality. Nice 3* hotels were at that time good enough without becoming sumptuous. Hotel Valganna could still be included in this category. From outside, when we arrive from Milano-Politecnico Bovisa train station, we... More

hotel has good location if you need to go for the fairs at Rho Fierra (15-20min by train). Rooms are not bad, staff is friendly, but I have no clue how come can it cost 150-170 EUR/night, even though it is Milan and fairs time?? Breakfast is below average and the neighbourhood has nothing to offer - just it's good... More

Front Office personal was unhelpful when asked questions, the rooms were dark, old fashioned and really dusty! The window in our room was broken and only fixed with some tape and some kind of canvas. The walls and lampshades were stained. The bed was uncomfortable because you could feel the bedsprings. Wi-fi connection only in the "lobby" (1€ for half... More

Normal hotel for its category. Stayed with my wife for one night in transit. Very convenient location, just minutes from the city center. Maybe we were lucky, but got a great spacious room on the second floor with a large outdoor terrace. The room has everything you need. Breakfast is modest, but it is quite normal for a hotel of... I got a room here from friend's advice on a quick trip to Milan. It was close to where I needed to be, so I took it. For the price - I could have gotten a terrific, cleaner bed in a hostel. 50-something euros on expedia.it ! More like 50 euros of nightmare! I arrived in this horrifying location quite... More

I would not recommend this hotel for a business trip's week. Poor area and disappointing services for a 3-star hotel. Noisy hotel (noise of showers, bathrooms and even discussions of the rooms next door). No Wi-Fi (except in the hall). You have to pay for extra-fees to get low-performing access to Internet (thanks to an ethernet cable). No access to... More

First of all the picture above is not what the hotel lobby looks like at all so do not be fooled by it! I don't know who put this image up but trust me it is not taken in Hotel Valganna. Good points: Breakfast is included consisting of cereal, biscuits, ham, cheese, bread, coffee, juice, yogurts and fruit - same... More

My wife and i stayed at this hotel for a few days and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service despite so so reviews in TripAdvisor and other sites. we were not too fond of neighborhood with all the graffiti and run down look but as we only spent the nights there it was bearable. Stefan, the front desk... More

This was a nice enough hotel, though quite a bit out of the centre. We stayed here to go to a football game at the San Siro and it's not near the Duomo or the football stadium at all (which we knew when we booked). It was easy enough to get into to town though as the Bovisa train station... More
