The staff were polite, breakfast was typical Milanese coffed and pastries. We had room 1, 1st floor. Window opened onto internal courtyard with restaurant- a bit noisy in the evening but just chatter. No mini-fridge, no kettle. Not a big problem for us. Close to Duomo, science museum, Via Torino shopping, Ballia supermarket for cheap healthy eats. Watch out for... More

We were staying for 1 night in Milan stopping for a rest between a longer journey. We wanted to see the Duomo and shopping malls and then grab a bite to eat and go to sleep. The hotel is in an average location, about 15 minutes walk from the Duomo and central square. The hotel was a little musty smelling... More

We needed a three night stay, and they found us room. Our bath was a challenge, but travel is always a challenge. I missed having a plug in the drains of sink and bidet, tho! The lady serving coffee spoke no English, but she spoke Coffee! I enjoyed the packaged toasts with a bit of butter and jam for brekkies.... More

It was a very good choice! There was a small (but at least private) bathroom, the room was very clean and the stuff was very friendly. Finally, the location was perfect (just 10-12 minutes walk from Duomo)!

Heading says it all really. Also really good breakfast. Only gripe was that although the hotel has air conditioning it is only operative during Italy's summer months and we were not able to use it and so we opened the window at night only to find we had been got by Mosquitos so don't be fooled into doing that! Seriously... More

It was a bargain to get the family room (for 3 people, it was my mom, sister and me) for two nights (Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon). Location is very nice - a short walk from a couple of bigger metro stations. Service was good, waitress at breakfast is the one serving coffee/tea, you can't get it yourself, and she speaks just Italian,... More

This was our first hotel in our latest journey to Italy, because our first stop was Milan. The service was nice, the staff was helpful but the rooms seemed old and the shower area in our bathroom was so tiny. Its advantage is its proximity to the Duomo and the Vittorio Emmanuel mall... even the La Scala and the golden... More

My friends and I stayed at Hotel Vecchia for two nights in September of 2013. We found the hotel to be centrally located for sightseeing and riding the Metro. It was staffed with friendly, helpful personnel. Our room was adequate in size, and both room and bathroom were always clean. Before starting our day, we had a very good breakfast... More

Dilapidated, dark, dirty and scruffy hotel with catastrophic mattresses, very small shower, rotten bath installations, miserable breakfast – centrally located and close to a very nice tavern called Hostaria Borromei. In spite of clear request they call expensive airport taxi to Linate.
