We could easily walk to the Duomo, the castle, metro and train station to the airport. Room was clean, bed comfortable. We did not have any view from our room but we did not spend a lot of time there. Tiny bathroom. Accommodating staff. Great restaurant next door! Would stay again.

After reading the reviews prior to arrival, I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel. But this hotel is stunning for its price. Neat, well presented interior and everything was clean with no musty/weird smells. I requested a room with lots of sunlight and got a room that had a balcony! The bathroom is sufficient in size and the shower... More

Oh well, What can I say about an hotel that costed me more then 100 € for a room that had no more then 15 sqm? Well, the room was cleaned, had the essentials: bed, wardrobe, TV, bathroom and a small table with a chair and a window. The breakfast is nothing special. But if you are looking for something... We had such a wonderful 2-day stay here (wish we could have stayed longer!). The room was immaculate and charming, the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, and you can't beat the location---it was close to everything yet quiet enough for a good night's rest. Breakfast was just right, especially the cappuccino made fresh for each guest.

My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend, and the room was clean with lots of space for each of us. The breakfast was ample enough to get you filled up before you left in the morning, and they were there to give you anything you needed. Service was amazing, and the location is right next to just... Stayed here for one night before traveling onwards to Lake Garda. This was the first hotel we found, after parking in the basement multi-story a few minutes walk away. It does have a lift so good for my friend with walking difficulties. Hotel was very basic but comfortable. Hotel reception were helpful, but the hotel itself was quite expensive for... More

The location of the hotel is excellent - only a few minutes from the Duomo and the Metro/Tram lines. The rooms are clean and the WiFi reliable. But.... the beds are not comfortable, the breakfast is pretty bad (but the coffee is good!). The bathroom is a disaster - the shower head in my room was so old and calcified... More

I know European hotels are very different from those in the U.S. but this was a pretty bad experience. It seems that other people may have had a better room than I received. This is a typical European hotel although my room was particularly dingy and dark. It did not seem very clean, but again it was difficult to tell... More

We stayed for only one night but was very comfortable. The room was large and clean. It was a llitle hard to find but i think that the reason is that in general the streets of Milan are not too easy to follow and found. We stayed for only one night but was very comfortable. The room was large and... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
