We chose this hotel because we were staying for a few nights over New Year's and wanted a place that was within easy walking distance of major attractions for a decent price. When we arrived, the room was definitely smaller than expected based on some pictures here, but since we were only planning on being there for sleeping, it was... More

This hotel has an excellent location for the centre of the city. We use it when going to the opera and it is in walkng distance to Cadorna railway station for Malpensa airport and not too far from the main two railway stations. As with many older city centre properties, it is small. Some of the bathroom sseem like a... More

this budget hotel is a great value in expensive Milan. It is a little worn around the edges, but is in a great neighborhood and 10 minutes to the Duomo. There are only Italian TV channels. Mohammed was a great help with translations. The coffee lady made a great cappuccino and gave me Italian language lessons. The breakfast was OK.... More

Hotel very shabby, in need of decorating. Tiny shower room. No tea and coffee making facilities. No plug points except one in shower room. Receptionist unhelpful.Very little selection for breakfast, croissants, yogurts and (not fresh) rolls. No fresh fruit or cereals. Badly bitten by mosquitos in room. Definitely not a 3 star hotel, The location is the best feature of this... More

This is possibly the worst room my husband and I have ever stayed. We booked this room 2 months before our trip and as we mentioned we were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary, were hoping for one of the best rooms in the hotel. What a disappointment when we entered room number 1 on the first floor. It was... More

I think there must have been a batch of new staff as the main (male) receptionist was SO rude. No pleasantries whatsoever. We were on a 4 day City Break. The room on 2nd floor looked out onto a concrete wall. We asked to be moved and were greeted with a grunt and a room on the 3rd floor. 4... More

Pleasant hotel very close to the city center, close to monuments, very close to transports and close to all bars (about 10 minutes walk). The room is not pretty, quite small and breakfast is summary. People are nice and give us a good explication about the city and place to visit. It's quite calm during the night. The climatisation was... More

Did not feel at all like a three star hotel. Rooms feel like freshman year in a dormitory. Also, noisy street, but maybe they all are in Milan. Hotel was on the same street as two really good restaurants and pretty close to Cardona train station, which we used to take the train to the airport.

Great location - in a narrow street close to the Duomo and a 15 minutes walk from Cadorna train station (e.g. for trains to Lake Como). Right next to Hostoria Borromei which is a fantastic restaurant - must try! Great staff - the young lad who seemed to be at reception 24/7 was very, very helpful and friendly. Always manages... The staff were polite, breakfast was typical Milanese coffed and pastries. We had room 1, 1st floor. Window opened onto internal courtyard with restaurant- a bit noisy in the evening but just chatter. No mini-fridge, no kettle. Not a big problem for us. Close to Duomo, science museum, Via Torino shopping, Ballia supermarket for cheap healthy eats. Watch out for... More
