Calm, and near the tramway which takes you to the city center. Two Streets down the block you can find several pubs and restaurants to enjoy the night life and have some good food and drinks. Great reception, polite helpfull. Room a bit small but cozy, clean and confortable. Will surely come back.

I have stayed at Lancaster hotel three times so far and will definitely re-visit. I good "old-style" building with high ceilings and comfortable rooms (So far I stayed at a superior double room). WiFi is good enough but do not expect lightning speeds. Old style hospitality, every time with a smile. Really quiet street. Basic disadvantages is A) lack of... More

We stayed here for 3 nights mid september. We arrived at garibaldi train station and it was 12 euros in a taxi from there to the hotel. Please note when you arrive at that train station, the queue for taxis is a nightmare so you are better off exiting the station and simply crossing the road to get a taxi... More

This is a good choice of hotel for a stay in Milan. Located not far from the Sforza palace, its a nice walk through the park to the busy city. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the tariff and that includes great cappuccino as well. We were traveling to... More

Stayed 4 nights September 19 - 23rd. The location is in quiet street near to Sempioni Park and castle. There are many restaurants close by. Taxi from central station is 15 euros and tram 3 minutes from hotel to Duomo 5 euros one way. Our room had 3 single beds, as requested, which were very comfortable and with plenty of... More

This was my first trip to Milano. Hotel was chosen by the host. Lancaster is stylish old fashioned hotel. Location is good. Peronel is very friendly. Rooms are good. There is nothing to complain in general. But there isn't either nothing that would pop up in very positve way. In another words pretty good average hotel. Good value for money... More

We only stayed here one night but it was a very nice hotel. We picked it for location and price as we were on a short break before school went back. It was an ideal base for us. Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly - breakfast ok for continental - no complaints. Good short stay hotel.

I stayed in a premier room in this historic hotel a bit away from the usual desired locations. The room (#325) faced the back, with a small balcony looking onto the back balconies of dozens of rooms/apartments. I believe this back location restricted the view, but made the room more quiet with no street notice. The balcony had a glass... More

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel in July. Decent sized room, beautiful bathroom and friendly staff. Good location to park Sempione, restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral. Only downside was very hard pillows and bed but we have found this to be just the way it is in Europe. Wifi was good. Would recommend... More

We recently enjoyed 4 nights at this excellent hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and informative. The hotel was well located within close proximity to Park Sempione and surrounding restaurants. Breakfast was good. Our room (No. 123) was spacious and spotless and came with a big bathroom. Thank you Hotel Lancaster for making our stay a pleasurable... More
