What a pleasant experience! The Hotel Gran Duca di York was exceptionally clean!! and the staff were extremely accommodating. All of the desk staff speak excellent English and all staff are very professional. The breakfast was wonderful. The location was great......close to the duomo and close enough to the train station that the taxi wasn't too expensive. more

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel, within walking distance of Duomo and the excellent metro. Rooms are European small and there is only a space to hang clothes so you do end up living out of the suitcase.
