Would recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Milan. As far as Milan prices go, this is the best you'll find for value. The location is superb and allows you to hit Milan's top attractions by foot. Comfort wise, both my wife and I truly enjoyed the rooms and staff hospitality. Last but not least, the animal paintings are off... More

This hotel is located in a dark alleyway and has plain, uninteresting rooms, contrary to what is said in Rick Steven's guide. The staff is kind and the breakfast good. But what a depressing place to stay.

After flying into Milan it took a long time to find this hotel traveling from the airport with a GPS. I don't recommend driving in Milan. In my opinion far worse than any city including Rome. The Hotel is located on a small one way street. We had a lot of luggage since we were going to be vacationing for... More

This hotel was located in a side street in the heart of Milan city. Great location. Close to everything for the tourist. We were able to get around to all the main sights on foot. The room we had was big enough for two people and our two suit cases. The room was basic but was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was... This hotel has the perfect location with the Duomo at your doorstep. Found the room to be clean and the beds comfortable. While the bathroom was a bit tight - it was clean, had a great shower and all the amenities you would expect (they even had a razor and shaving lotion)! The front desk staff was pleasant and quite... Easy 10 minute walk from Cardona Train Station (from Malpensa Airport) & 5 minute walk to Duomo Piazza The rooms are clean with tea making, no english speaking TV. The breakfast was very substantial. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The hotel is located in a very small alley and we initially questioned if it was a safe area but found the location is not only safe but ideal in the center for shopping an going to major tourist sites (5mins to 15mins away). Yes décor is funky – art deco meets safari style. We actually found it more interesting... More

We stayed at Hotel Star for 2 nights at the end of a 2 week road trip around Italy and we loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful providing us with local maps and printing our boarding passes and bus tickets. The room we had was lovely and absolutely spotless and the bed was sooo comfortable! The bathroom... More

The hotel is very centrally located - just a few minutes' walk to La Scala or the Duomo. Our room was towards the back and opened into a small inner courtyard, so it was very quite. We loved the jacuzzi bath and the multi-head shower. The staff was nice and helpful. Our only issue with the hotel was the very... More

This hotel is located very central and close to the metro. It is comfortable and breakfast was adequate. The room was more modern and bigger than what we were expecting which was great. The gentleman on the front desk was very professional and helpful. Small amount of mould on bathroom ceiling but apart from that quite a pleasant stay. A... More
