Stazione Centrale isn't the nicest part of Milan and some of the hotels round here are terrible. This one isn't. Booked this online and it was very reasonable!! The hotel was situated behind the central station about 5 min walk. Although other reviews have mentioned dodgey people hanging around, this is a little exadurated. Yes, like all stations in big cities, you did have beggars/homeless people etc but there was also a noticeable police presence so i didnt feel threatened... more
