Not exactly centrally situated, but within easy walking distance of Corso Beunos Aires it is conveniently located to move around the city. Two metro lines are within 5 minutes of the hotel - Porto Venezia (just 3 stops form Duomo) and Repubblica. Central Station is just one stop from Repubblica. Staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly and English is no... More

Really nice hotel with a relatively good location. Easy to access from the central station and not too far away from the center of Milan. Rooms are really nice and the staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine too.

Nice hotel near the center of the city. A pleasant taxi ride from nearby Linate airport. Stayed in a good large room with comfortable bed. Large bath and shower and some nice amenities and a hair dryer. The breakfast was very good. The reception staff and manager were helpful and friendly. The manager talked with us about the history of... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my son and husband whilst in Milan for work. We'd never been to Milan before so didn't have any pre-conceived ideas about it. The Sanpi is a great hotel - large, comfortable rooms - though our bathroom was a little on the small side and it was hard to get into... More

Hotel Sanpi is a place conveniently located near major shops and outlets. The personnel engage the guests and create a temporary family. I find this a place excellent for kids because of the perfect breakfast, rooms and service.

We just spent 3 days in Milan at the Sanpi Hotel. It is near the trains and right on the red metro line. the staff was very helpful and the room perfect for our needs. We got a great deal on Travelocity but found that through Tripadvisor. We highly recommend this hotel.

If you have the opportunity to stay at Hotel Sanpi you will not be disappointed. The room was average, but the bed was comfy and everything was very clean. You will find the staff very responsive to your every need. The breakfasts were very good, and it is quite well situated in town. Again, I have to stress that the... More

This was a really rustic hotel located in downtown Milan, slightly run down area of Milan, but acceptable, as was only at the hotel to sleep and have breakfast in the mornings. Rest of the time, out and about with relatives. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, little on the... More

Friendly reception staff. Very small rooms here, asked to change to another room and still small room. Noisy air conditioning so slept with it turned off but very hot in the night. The breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice for cereals, fruit and pastries however, the cooked breakfast was not so good. They didn't have bacon only ham... More

I stayed here two nights in June 2015, for the Milano Expo. First of all, it's very conveniently located in you're going to the Expo, just take the red metro line all the way (special ticket needed). The hotel is near nice shopping (Corso Buenos Aries, Via Venezia etc), on a street with many restaurants (many African restaurants, which I... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
