I’ve chosen the hotel based on excellent reviews, but I can’t say that it’s something special for 4*. The rooms are old-fashioned and need renovation, the district is quite “interesting” in the evening due to many African people in and near bars like Eritrea or Africa. As the obvious pluses are the inner garden and rich breakfast. From my point... More

Great hotel to hideaway in! The hotel is close to the city center as well as the new city developments. It is in walking distance from Corso Como, Via Spiga and via Montenapoleone (the big shopping streets). It's also an easy walk to the Duomo. Not only is the hotel hidden and quaint and comfy, but they provide a great... More

This is a good, comfortable hotel, well located and with professional staff who are very attentive to guests' needs. Positives: Well appointed, comfortable room; good location about 5 minutes' walk from two Metro stations; excellent staff; good breakfasts; garden is very pleasant for a drink outside. Negatives: The room was rather small (but, admittedly, it is in an inner city... More

Positives: - spacious room and bathroom - clean - cute garden - good breakfast - helpful staff Negatives: - In room safe requires separate credit card payment - Ok location just midpoint between train stations and centre of town, but not easy to find

We must have had bad luck as this hotel has such good reviews. The room was very small and the design/ layout did not help. The bed kept rolling out from the wall. Shower was tiny so I kept banging my elbows. We had do not disturb sign on the door and without knocking or ringing the door bell, someone... More

Hotel is dead on for F1 followers bound for Monza GP like us. Good for free wifi and safe for valuables. Lovely garden, tasty breakfast but order your coffee from waiter rather than self service Nescafé machine. Mixer taps in bath/shower in Superior room bit of a pain. Water too hot. Then cooler water too slow to engage shower head.... More

We were really satisfied with hotel. The service was good and personnel was very helpful. Open garden was very nice. We didn't faced any problem in this hotel. Only rooms should be renovated a ltl bit.The location also was perfect.

We spent three nights at the Sanpi in peak season. Despite the busyness of this time of year, the staff were attentive to every detail. The breakfasts are delicious, a full menu included in the price of accommodation. The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was excellent. We also dined there one evening and again superb service. The rooms are... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and looked nice (great shower too!). The location is good in terms of distance to the centre but the area itself isn't the nicest.

The air conditioning is a blessing especially in summer! The staff were lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. The location can seem a little scary at first with a lot of people sitting on the street outside little cyber cafés or bars but they are harmless and keep themselves to themselves. The garden bar is fantastic and is exactly what... More
