The hotel is central, close to shopping and the Duomo and the hotel was very clean too. However the rooms were too small and even though we opted for an upgrade to a superior room, there was nothing superior about the room. I'd hate to think what the standard room was like. To top it all our complaint was met... More

The most important part when you arrive to any hotel around the world is the friendly and smiling welcome , maybe more than any thing else , unfortunately, this was hard to find when me and my family arrived to this hotel , they showed no help or welcoming sign , exactly as you arrived a jail or military camp... The income hall looks so beautiful, so we expected a lot from this place, but the rooms are outdated, the staff was unfriendly and breakfast was poor. We wouldn't recommend going to this place. It also is quite a walk from the town center, but we knew that one in advance, so we were prepared with good shoes.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in mid September and although the hotel is not terrible, it wasn't a pleasant experience. I'lll list the positives / negatives below: NEGATIVES * I was in a single room - the bed was very narrow. Also if you are taller than me - 183cm - then your feet will be dangling... More

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this hotel. The main reason is the location. Good price for what you get. That is, room, breakfast and general condition of the hotel are fine. What I found unacceptable is that they insist on charging 1 euro per hour for wifi. In our case the three people... More

About 15 mins walk from Milano Centrale station, although at first we took a long turn that became over 30 mins with our luggages. Located in a quiet street but at the nearby junction the road was a little more bright, and the metro station was about 200m away. 4 stops away to Duomo. The hotel itself looks newly-renovated on... Good points : location , acceptable cleanness ( even the towels were clean , their color was grey, not white as it should be ) . Bad points : breakfast extremely pour, arrogant receptionist ( old guy ) .

The location is extremely good and the staff in general are O.k, but the owner is very rude and not at all friendly. Cant understand how he became a hotelier. His attitude created a bad impression of Italy for us. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with little children as the owner has something against kids.

We recently stayed at the Serena and found it comfortable and clean. It was close to the Lima metro station and about 10 minutes for the central station. We found the two female reception staff excellent because of how they dealt with us over the week. There is a man who works there in various places such as at breakfast... More
