Centrally located hotel, great for sightseeing. Family room occupancy three OK, important to get a room not overlooking tram, Breakfast Buffet good quality if a little stressful. Front desk staff willing and helpful making reservations, as requested. Layout of the hotel a bit confusing. Generally good experience would we go back? Probably try somewhere else.

We have booked one room for 3 adults, with 3 single beds (as was advertised by the hotel). Which was actually the main reason us choosing this particular hotel. When we arrived, we were offered a room with one double bed and one sofa. That is why we asked on the reception to change the room. After this the new... More

Absolutely loved this hotel! Could not of got a better location if we tried... Literally a five minute walk to Milan Cathedral and all the shops and restaurants. Had a slight problem at check in - we arrived about 1pm local time and our room wasn't ready. We were told by the receptionist it would be about an hour which... More

The reception is two individuals who are very overwhelmed with checking in and out process, operator duties, concierge errands all with not so fluency in English and need to confirm certain steps with someone over the phone now and then. It is being sold part of the charm that the building is ancient, but why the furniture and toilet is... More

A fairly modern, yet very comfortable and welcoming hotel. About a 1/3 mile from the Duomo and major site-seeing, it was well lated. The room was clean and well equipped, the inclusive buffet breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel, and will be returning on my next visit to Milano.

The location is perfect as it is away from the crowd but in short walking distance to the Duomo and shops downtown. The hotel's transport service was good, so we booked their chauffeur to pick us up from the airport. Cleaning service, the staff, breakfast - everything was satisfactory. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel , it's spot is perfect , just a straight line walking distance to Duomo or 1 metro stop. The metro Statius is outside the hotel. Rooms have space , some noise from the street , breakfast tasty , I recommend it ! Reception very friendly , rooms clean

This hotel was clean (although a little run down), with a friendly multi-lingual staff. It had a good (European type) breakfast. To be honest, we were expecting a little more from a "luxury" 4-star hotel in the center of the city - it seemed more like a business type hotel, quick in and out. It was a good price for... More

The breakfast was great, service was good and polite and the room was neat. Good bed. The problem was the loudness of the room. It was almost as if there were no walls at all. So be sure to pack your earplugs with you! Beacause of the noice I wouldn't go to this hotel again.

Fantastic position, well appointed rooms where the staff were extremely attentive and they all seemed happy in their jobs! The shower was massive and the bathroom was spacious - something you don't always see in Europe! Breakfast was excellent.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
