One of my worse experience staying at a hotel. It is 37 degrees and the air conditioner is not working, called the receptionist they told me that on the computer they can see that my room temperature is 19 degrees and the fan blasting, told them to come to my room to check it out nobody came. I when down... More

Three nights at the beginning of June 2015 and it certainly was a pleasant stay. Not any luxury but the great location and reasonable prices along with the lovely helpful lady at the reception made it! I couldn't figure out how the TV worked, but it didn't matter, the room was quiet and in a good condition and the breakfast... More

Good middle standard hotel, at a very central location in Milan. You are clost to shopping and sights. Room good size and clean. Breakfast buffet not the most interesting I have seen, but ok. Staff polite and helpful.

I chose this hotel because of price and location. During the period I was in Milan, hotels were expensive. Also, I wanted something close to a Metro stop. I liked the neighborhood here; it's right on a main street with lots of stores and restaurants, and not too far (but not too close) to the train station. I had no... More

I stayed here recently when it seemed just about all the hotels in Milan were completely booked. Apart from the fact that the staff were friendly I didn't find much else to redeem it. It was a good 20 min walk from the city centre, no restaurant on site, very noisy between rooms.

As mentioned in my other review we were transferred to this hotel. The hotel Puccini is at the mainstreet with a lot of shops. The entrance is at a gallery with a not so nice ... club next to it. The front desk lady give us a warm welcome. Also she told that the staff was new and that they... More

Me and my partner had a short stay here (2nights) staff were nice and the rooms were clean. The rooms weren't 'modern' but I thought they had a certain charm whereas my partner thought they were a bit 'daggy'. Saying that the bathroom was beautiful, immaculate and spacious. The bed was quite small and uncomfy which was a dissapointment. What... More

A short, 2 night, visit to Milan for some spring sunshine, the Grand Hotel Puccini provided a comfortable sleep at a reasonable price. What else can I note... Breakfast was good; wifi in the room worked perfectly; the bathroom was sufficient; staff at reception were friendly; it's a 2 minute walk to Lima metro station. And that's it really. Nothing... I stayed four nights at the Grand Hotel Puccini, during the Milano Fashion Week. This is not the best time to find an affordable hotel in town and it was a last minute booking. Not being a very spoiled traveler, the Grand Hotel Puccini did not make it to 4 stars. The room was pretty clean and the bathroom slightly... More

spent a weekend in Milan for sightseeing, and picked this hotel due mainly to its location and reasonable price. The location was perfect, right next to a metro stop, but equally well positioned if you like to walk. Plenty of restaurants in the area. The rooms were nothing special but adequate. Very clean (and maid came every day). no tea... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
