From the marble floor and revolving door, we knew we were in for something special. Great lifts, small. Great room with a view. Nice bathroom, free internet. Great, really great breakfasts and a complimentary newspaper to start the day. The desk service was great. Convenient for the railway station. A great stay.

After a terrible stay in Paris, and a 7 hour train ride with a school group, my family and I were so relieved to walk into the foyer of Andreola Hotel. The reception staff were incredibly efficient, and the Porter was a godsend after dragging all our bags in and out of trains and taxis. The room was incredibly comfortable... More

As in most hotels in Italy you also must detuct one star from the rating. As a three star hotel it would be quite good, but does not fulfill the four star exspectations. Anyway, its fair enough if you like to stay a 5 min walk from Milano Centrale.

I stayed in this hotel for about 1 week and this hotel was amazing! With the price you pay, I would say is totally worth it! First of all I like this hotel for it's location. This hotel is situated really close to Milano Centrale Train Station (about 5 minutes walk). They serve really good breakfast with great coffee as... More

Hotel was nice, in a good location, very close to the metro station which means you can get around to all main attractions easily. When using the metro make sure you buy an urban ticket day pass for €4.50 instead of being charged €1.50 for one trip it saves lots of money. Hotel was very clean, and the cleaner did... More

Excellent place to stay in Milano - clean and cozy, excellent service, rich breakfast. The location is very convenient - almost all the city tourist highlights are withing waking distance, for more distant once you have metro station in just a couple of minutes walk. Easy transport connection to other Italian cities and abroad - the train station is nearby... More

Nice and clean hotel. Good breakfast, a lot to choose off. Cleaning lady changed sheets and towels everyday ( stayed for 5 nights) . Room was clean and fresh. Good location! Friendly staff! I will definitely stay there next time I'll be visiting Milan.

Old-fashioned plush brocades, inlaid doors and furniture, carved Carrara marble door frames, polished marble table tops and parquets floorings, crystal chandeliers, high-pile carpets in the corridors and stairs - this is the visiting card Andreola offers to the guests, to make them feel specially welcome. The bar is an equally pleasant corner to sit and sip those decadent apéritifs over... More

Spent three nights here and asked for a room at the back of the hotel following comments from other posters. This was a good decision as it was very, very quiet. It is a beautiful old building. Our only complaints were that the bathroom door did not shut and the pillows (kapok?) were incredibly solid! We found the staff very... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
