Its located few mins walk to the Central Station and closes to bus stop where could take you direct to domestic & international airport in Milan. The hotel facilities are generally old, the lift is so small, the breakfast is very low standard (considering room price per night) & the rooms are not well maintained. However, if you are going... It is located close to the Central Station which is perfect if you are travelling by train or plane (the shuttle buses stop there too). Good public transport connection to the city centre. Very poor decoration. The hotel lobby lacks color, it is gloomy and cold . The room was a bit better!

My wife and I were in Milan this past June for two days and we were looking for a hotel near the Stazione Centrale as we were talking an 11 PM overnight train to Paris and wanted our luggage, etc to be near our departure point so we could get a full 2 days in. Rick Steve's recommended this hotel,... More

My family of 4 stayed for one night less than 12 hours. I would not recommend this hotel because it does not have working WiFi insideyour hotel room. This was disappointing because I emailed to confirm that it would be working in the room - as some hotels offer wifi but then don't clarify that it is offered only in... More

Benefits: * location near to the Milan Central Railway Station Disadvantages: * single room very small * smells untidy * the elevator seems to be designed for a very thin person only * old and uncomfortable furniture * rusty water from the tap * absolutely not sound-proof so that one can listen to every sound coming from neighbors - imagine... Hotel perfect for one nite stopover if you need to be close to Milan Centrale Station. Very basic hotel but our room was clean and neat. Breakfast continental style and basic but quality was fine and staff efficient. Very convenient to walk with luggage to the hotel from the station and if you need to leave early again back to... This hotel is conveniently located near the train station. It is very basic in its furnishings and amenities, but the staff are courteous and attentive. The wifi was in good working order, and there is a small elevator that also functioned well. The queen bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together and a little on the firm side. The... More

I stayed at the Florida for a 1 night stopover in Milan. I stayed here because I had stayed several times (years ago) and because the price was very good. It has become more tired and run down over the years, and it seems as though management has given up trying to keep it up. Advantages: it was clean, very... More

There's nothing to really be said about this hotel except that it is close to the train station/metro and relatively inexpensive. It is old. It is rundown. It has no redeeming quality other than the price. The A/C did not work in our room nor did the internet. There is also no available parking. I spent a night here passing... More

Really close to the train station and metro station. Took forever to check in to the room at the reception. Then there was only one tiny elevator that took some time to get us upstairs to our room. When entered the room, it was a small room with the essentials. The shower cubicle door was broken and fallen off....the room... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
