As every has already noted, Hotel Florida is conveniently located if you need to be close to the train station. To explore Milan I would have prefered to be closer to the centre, but convenience was our priority. The man at the front desk wasn't welcoming or nice at all, but the woman who looked after us at breakfast was... More

Our family of 5 stayed in this hotel for one night as we had an early morning train the next morning. Location was perfect, just across from the train station. We had a family room which was quite large and spacious. Tip: this room was not available through online booking and we only got it by contacting the hotel directly.... More

We stayed in Milan for one night just to take the train to Zurich. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the main train station of Milan so it was very convenient. The hotel is old but the rooms are spacious. The elevator though was extremely small. We didin't have time for the breakfast and the price was normal. More

Greatest value of this hotel is the location and public transport connection possibilities to city center & airport. The hotel offer and services belongs to its category, so you receive exactly what you pay for. Sleep quality is very good although the rooms are tiny and very basic. Surprisingly reasonable minibar prices. More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in Jan of 2012 as recommended by the Rick Steve's Italy travel book. As it was the off-season, we got the room for only 80 Euro. The mattress was pretty firm and the lighting was pretty minimal, but it was spotless, it was quiet, there was a little balcony to step... More

Good location of you come in by train, but wouldn't stay more than one night. Breakfast was terrible. More

We were just in Milan one night, arriving by train in the morning and departing by train the next morning for the airport. Just one block from the train station, this hotel was very convenient. The hotel room was more like an American business hotel, a nice change of pace from unairconditioned the Italian B&Bs from our previous 3 weeks... More

We choose this hotel because of their location and overall impression from their web page. The real thing is quite different from what they claim in the web. Certainly the location close to the central train station with airport shuttle bus stops is very convenient; but there it ends. Service, cleanliness, room arrangements, furniture, washroom facilities - mediocre at best.... More

This hotel was chosen because of close proximity to the station. Even though situtated in a busy area the rooms were very quiet. The interior was somewhat austere and clinical. Room was basic-no frills- but adaquate. Bathroom was a good size. Room rather dark with very high ceilings. Breakfast was more substantial than the norm. Free wifi. Reception staff could... More

The best feature of this hotel is its proximity to the train station - almost right across the street and totally walkable even with heavy luggage. This makes it a good place to stay if you are only in Milan for a few nights and want to avoid the hassle of a long trip to/from the train station. Otherwise this... More
