Pros: Excellent location. In the center of Milan, 3 minutes to the Galleria, 4 to the Duomo. Friendly Front office. Rooms are fairly sized. Cons: Tiny elevator. servers in the coffeeshop seems to always be in a hurry to clean up, even if you are not yet done with your meal. breakfast limited to breads, cereals and cold meats. some... Location in the center of Milan, near everything. Classic Hotel with a great breakfast. Avoid the Milano fairs season because is complete and I'm there :) The rooms are regular and need a good interior designer to renew all the Hotel.

We stayed in a triple room for two nights. Excellent location...but that's all! The hotel needs a complete makeover not the attempted cosmetic "renovated" rooms. Completely outdated interiors, rooms, beds, furnishing & toilets. The air conditioning was useless & I called the reception to complain. Nothing was done on day 1 & it was hot! Next morning I got only... More

I went with my family and we reserved two rooms. Outside was very hot and inside of the rooms was not better. Old wall air conditioners wasn't work, I can say, at all. After the arguing with administration, they changed our room from 7th floor to second and ac worked better but perfect if compare with previous room. Staff is... More

Not a bad price for being minutes away from the Duomo. A really modest and simple hotel but it got the job done! The staff was friendly and helpful, nice breakfast, and as the title says, you can't beat the location.

This clean hospitable hotel is well located in the heart of Milan just a few blocks from the extraordinary duomo. Subway and bus stops are within a block or two and the hotel is within a shopping area. We were in Milan to attend the Expo which was an easy subway ride. It's also an easy subway ride to the... The Galileo is 5 minutes walk from The Duomo, The famous Milanese Cathedral, adjacent to The Galleria - Where you spin 3 times on the Bull's bits! for prosperity. The hotel provides excellent facilities. The rooms well equipped, with all your needs met from, Pen and paper, to Slippers and dressing gown. The breakfast is buffet style with a selection... More

The location is wonderful just minutes from the Duomo and La Scala. The reception staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The bedroom was large enough but dull with our view (we had 404). I suspect there are better views. We paid £80 a night which for June and the location must be considered really good value. It was well equipped... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
