This hotel was conveniently located near the main train station and a metro stop. However, there were several problems with the room. First, our room had a safe and a telephone, but neither of them worked. We were told that these things could not be fixed because of the cost. Frankly I don't understand why they don't just toss these... More

Our experience at the Canova Hotel exceeded our expectations. For the price we paid the room was very acceptable and the breakfast was quite enought... For sure, we will use the Canova Hotel if we return to Milan.

Canova Hotel was a nice budget hotel 5 minutes walk away to the Central Railway Station in Milan. The room was small but it was comfortable and clean. The wireless connection was complimentary and efficient. The breakfast was better than what I expected. Overall it was a nice hotel for an overnight stay close to the main train station.

Milan was the 4th destination on my Euro Trip in Oct 2014. Pros: - Good location, walking from train station, 5 mins. - Very good reception area. - Very good rooms. Small but comfortable. - Beds were nice. - Professional staff Cons - No AC. Had a discussion with the front desk. They said they don't provide the AC in... More

Upon opening door to twin bedroom on 7th floor encountered the most gut wrenching stench from a room freshener that wouldn't disappear for days even after the windows were left open day and night. Aircon doesn't work and is noisy. Windows couldn't be left open at night due to noise from street below. Beds from another era, wafer thin, hard,... More

Staff were very nice. Internet wouldn't work, they reset it and it still wouldn't work. They tried to help as best they could. Room was clean. Outdated. Tv was good. Window opened which was nice because the air conditioner might as well have been broken. Hopeless. Excellent location next to centrale station! Easy to get into madrid city centre!

A recent visit to Milan and tried a new Hotel. Not the experience we were after. Ended up waiting until after 2pm to be placed in 2 single beds. Room was run down, the hotel has nicer rooms which after complaining we were better accommodated.

The only positive for this place is the location. Close to Station and a lovely restaurant on the corner of the street. Where do I start. The hotel staff were rude, the wi fi was pretty non existent except in the lobby. Hotel room was spacious not too bad. The smell was the most cheap and disgusting room freshener and... More

We booked a small double bed room, and come to find our bed is tiny... not fit for 2 people. We mentioned this to the staff but they were unable to help us. The smell in the halls is like cheap, bad perfume, very unpleasant. After a long day, we come back to shower and find there's only one towel... More
