As 4, 50 year old Australians travelling through Europe we found the Casa Mia to have everthing we needed. Fausto, his wife and employees could not have been more helpful with any advise we sort throughout our stay. For anyone requiring a hotel close to central station(10 mins walk) with clean rooms, a fabulous breakfast buffet and internet ,stay here. It's... more

I would not even think about staying at this location. We stayed at a bunch of locations during our two week stay in Italy, and we disliked this one the most. I will have to say that the price was quite good. (65 Euro) I believe the worse part was how RUDE the staff was. We had to deal with... more

Spartan is the word i would use for the room I stayed in.Minimalist might be another but not in a hip way.A Trappist monk might think it was O.K. Very basic but clean enough. The only problem was the heating made a tremendous racket all night.Thankfully,i had earplugs with me.There's a a steep set of stairs in climb to reach the... more

Clean room, albeit a bit cold due to tiled floor. Window gave onto a central courtyard. Corridors rather dark. Staff very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Close to Metro station. Pleasant breakfast and espresso coffee served. more

The location of this hotel is somewhat away from the centro storico, but it is easily accessible on foot by metro (Republicca), tram and by the main train station. However, the area is safe and quiet. Be advised that breakfast is not included in the room price, but 4 EUR extra if you choose to have it. You need not,... more

We booked this hotel after reading reviews about it and checking location etc. We booked this though an Italian booking site called FlashBooking (which becomes important in the below) ... We got there at 10pm and checked in but the staff had no recollection of our booking. After ringing the owner, he looked through the bookings and found that although... more

God where to begin... Actually, one of the staff was very courteous and polite, and I feel a bit bad writing such a negative review for his hotel, but here it goes: -Generally unfriendly staff. -Paper thin walls, and unbelievable racket from 7am-9am with breakfast...you cannot possibly sleep with the banging of plates/tv blaring. -Not a good part of town,... more

Great location; clean and basic rooms; friendly service; free internet. You won't get a better price for the location - halfway between the train station and the duomo. It's not a luxury lodge, but it is more than sufficient and they even give you a simple breakfast. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Milan. more

Well-situated, central hotel. Comfortable, clean and good for the price in my opinion. Staff were perfectly pleasant, breakfast "continental" and adequate. The one problem with the place is its somewhat opaque pricing structure and the consequent impression of odd business practices. I got a global price, including breakfast and AC, for EUR 40 a night. It was apparent from conversations... more

Sep 27, 2008 | Trip type: Family

As a regular traveller to Europe, using trip advisor as a useful guide when booking hotels, I felt compelled to write about my experience with this particular hotel. Whilst attemtping to find suitable accommodation for my family, I sent a few enquiries to hotels recommended by fellow travellers. Most hotels responded within 24-48 hrs in a professional courteous manner. When... more
