We stayed here for three nights in december. Hotel looks a bit worn, but the rooms are good. Bathroom facilities are good, breakfast is croissants, breadrolls, biscuits, Juice, coffee, marmelades, cheesespread yoghurt and fruit. Service is good, staff helpfull. Location is great, metro stations nearby, Duomo a 20minute walk. Lost of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance Good price/quality... More

The hotel is very basic and in need of a facelift but the room was okay and came with a separate bathroom and toilet. The beds were firm and the room was fine for a couple of nights stay but you’d start feeling depressed if you stayed longer. The breakfast was pretty good but all cold items.

The rooms are clean, the shower and the bathrooms are fine. Breakfast tastes fine. There is something for everyone on the table. The hotel is only a few meters far from the Metro station Rebublica (Exit: Tram station). However, the carpets in the Corridors are very old and needed replaced. The aircondition has sometimes it problems. All in all I... More

I stayed in a single ensuite room at Hotel Casa Mia for 2 nights. It is a relatively small hotel, but it was cosy and it provided me with all I needed for a short trip in Milan, which in itself can be quite costly for budget travellers. Casa Mia was one of the (in my opinion) cheaper options for... More

We found Milan a difficult city to find our way around, it was hard to get oriented and that made Casa Mia hard to find even though it shouldn't have been. Having said that, I still liked the location. There are two metro stops close so it was easy to get to the places we wanted to go from the... More

Great location, 15 mins from the train station and the drop off point, of the Bergamo airport buses. Just walk from the front of the grand looking station, in a straight line, past the Westin Palace and turn left. Metro just a short walk from the hotel. Walk up a large flight of stairs to the top where reception is... More

Stayed in a double bed room, the room was pretty big, air con didn't seem to work. The breakfast is grim just cereal and some very bad croissants, although they will make you coffee the espresso is nice. 10 minute walk to station 20-30 minute walk to duomo

Good location. We are used to budget accommodation but this "hotel" smells of stale smoke amongst other things and is generally dark and dingy. There is no air conditioning and the beds in our room were dirty (covered in other people's hairs). You can also hear everything from rooms around you.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
