I recommend you NOT TO COME TO SEMPIONE HOTEL. You can find better hotels in the same ZONE. I was in Hotel Sempione for 2 nights. Bad experience. The room for 3 is very small. The personal at the front desk do not make any effort in speaking in other language than Italian; they think that all the passengers speaks... More

Sempione located in 10-15 min walk distance from Milano centrale, so it is no problem to get there by walk. Hotel itself is small, clean and nice. Hotel’s staff – very polite business style gentlemen. On reception you can take for free the map of Milano. Rooms are average, beds with clean bed linen, air condition / heating – ok,... More

Fine place to stay if you are not fussy. Stayed here several times for work. The staff are very rude although I found that quite funny and if you had a joke with them it was fun. Although they are extremely unhelpful. Rooms are hit and miss as well as the cleaning.

We were disappointed with this hotel, one of the receptionist was very rude (the other 2 guys at the reception were nice). The wifi situation was a disaster, you need to ask for a code for every device so we asked for 3 codes: 2 for our phones and one for the laptop and the guy looked annoyed and the... More

I think it is a good hotel to stay in for a few days. The staff was very helpful and funny. The breakfast was not as delicious as I would expect from Italy. And the lobby is not really comfortable. The rooms are different, some of them are looking quite good, but in general they are clean and have everything... More

I booked Hotel Sempione for a long weekend with 5 other friends. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but once arriving at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised. The entrance and reception is a little small but very well kept, clean and classy. We had two triple rooms - one was a little larger... More

Perfect place for a short stay. Two blocks from train station and from central market. 10 steps away from triangulo de las Bermudas gelataria, the most delicious ice creams found in Firenze. The people at the lobby very helpful and kind, they were ready to give a suggestion for places to visit and eat. Definitely I recommend this hotel

Hotel shuttle to and from airport is a plus. Also free parking if you have a car. Rooms nice and clean, but no elevator if you are on the upper floor. Great restaurant . Helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

First impression: The lobby is very small and unimpressive. The hotel room and bathroom were dated and not very clean; there was hair from previous guests scattered about the bathroom floor and shower walls. Wifi is not complimentary for hotel guests, it is 5 euros/day. The hotel staff is pedophobic - in other words, they are not friendly to children,... More

It's a good small hotel for short stay, near the center, in 15-20 min from Duomo. Rooms are not so big but clean. We've been there just for 2 days, and not spend so much time at the hotel, but it's good location that was very suitable for us.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
