It was an unpleasant visit because of the following: 1. the room has air conditionning, but it doesn't have a switch to turn it off. I couldn't stand it and asked the staff to turn it off and the solution offered by them was to keep the window open. The window led to a courtyard with some very noisy devices... More

The hotel barely meets the 3 stars rating, and the washroom was dirty, there was a blood stain on the wall. The bed and pillow were terrible and gross smell. The staff was rude and had no manners at all!! The hotel is family run, they just want every penny in your pocket, forcing you to pay 5 euros per... More

We arrived late in milano airport. Just one call to the hotel and an airport shuttle arrived to pick us up 10 minutes later. The hotel restaurant was still open and we ordered pizza. These pizzaz were by far the best pizzaz we ever tried in italy and we tried pizzaz in both Rimini and Rome. The staff helped us... More

The Hotel Sempione is a very good hotel in a very good, central position. In fact it is within a 10 minute walk of the Stazione Centrale and 3 minutes away from a Milan Metro station. I was given a room on the 3rd floor which was very quiet and met all my expectations. If there is a small fault... More

We stayed at the hotel for only one night with our family. We had a very comfortable room with a modern touch. LED lights in head board of the bed etcetera. It had all the comfort we needed. We only stayed for breakfast; this was a rather basic buffer but you had everything you needed.

Twelve college students, another professor and I stayed here for six days. Two subway lines are very close and they will get you around the city. The Duomo itself is only a few stops away and is walkable at a leisurely pace in 30 minutes. This is a family hotel and the staff was extremely accommodating to students who would... More

We stayed here during to visit the Expo Milan. It is within the walking distance to Milano Central station and Republicca subway station. The room we stayed was average, nothing special but good enough to stay during the night. The staff are cold and unfriendly (no welcoming smiles). The receptionist just give keys- no information at all. The woman serving... More

Rooms were nice and location just 10 minutes walk from central station and a few minutes walk from metro. However, you have to pay for wifi which is 5€ for 24 hours per device! So if you get a code it will only work on one device! Internet quality was very poor. Breakfast was very poor too

The location is very good, hotel is clean but the staff is tragical and you have to pay 5euros for 24hours of wifi ( they never turn it off actually) which works with one phone only and it turns off constantly. Breakfast are non edible , I felt like eating a peace of paper the whole time so make sure... More

Price: We paid 110 USD/night for a 3 bedroom and a crib incl breakfast. The offical rate for this room is around 800 USD/night. Thats definitely not value for the money! They give you a discount and you can get a rate of around 110 USD/night. Thats acceptable. Location: Perfect convenient location for sightseeing, visiting the most attraction & places... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
