Me and my friends stayed here during a city trip. The hotel is located near two metro stations, which is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. When they heard we took the bus back to the airport, they told us about a busstop near-by and they advised us to take that bus and explained how we should get... More

milan is the the place to be generally when it come s to fashion and design, but especially with the Expo in town. The theme this year is highly relevant to us all - Feeding the World and Energy for Life. This is a huge regeneration project and a great achievement by all concerned. It opens at 10am and closes... I completely agree with previous comments - max 3 star, reasonable breakfast, not helpful front desk (called them over phone asking for the various methods of commute from airport - "by taxi" when I asked how about public transport - "I don't know"), very small rooms, not even iron board is available in room ("in the past one guest had... We had parked our car in the exhibition hall near here to go to Milan Food Expo 2015. When we returned, the car park was locked so we could not leave. We asked at this hotel for a room but we had not enough cash left to pay for the room! We had overspent at the Expo. After sitting at... More

I'm staying in Milan for business for the week. Everyone in the city has been extraordinarily friendly. During a break at the conference (MICO center) I took a walk around and saw this place which looked inviting, and as I like to personally check out potential hotels for future visits I walked in. I walked straight past the front desk,... More

Dear Ben, your review really leaves us stunned. As you said you have introduced yourself stealthily in our Hotel and you have used our bathroom without asking permission, and it seems strange that you were stopped by our staff to know whether or not you were one of our customers? This is like if a stranger came to your house... More

I really have a trouble explaining 4 star rating.. No any of the conveniences associated with 4 stars at all. Comparing to other hotels in Europe and in the World, I could easily find 3 stars rating with much more higher standards and service than Hotel Portello - Gruppo Mini Hotel. No iron in the room, no coffee maker, no... More

Each year I spend 2 nights with a friend in this hotel. This place is modern and very agreable, with quite rooms and a helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is very well appointed. The situation in the city is practical for people visiting the Fiera Rho.

The hotel is very well located for the stadium, to go to Duomo, you need to walk around 500m or so to get Subway and go thru 7 stops. The garage was stinking as hell when I arrived, elevator not working at garage. Breakfast was too poor for a 4 star hotel. Room very small, with a terrible view of... More

Spent two days there to watch the Derby. The hotel is situated in a very strategic location. Walking distance from the metro, Casa Milan, and the San Siro Stadium. It was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely return to this hotel.
