On a 4 day conference at this hotel, going home with serious sleep deprivation due to extremely poor sound insulation. The hotel looks pretty good at first sight though, staff are professional and friendly and food is okay, nothing fancy but just okay. Bathroom leaves to be desired: if you want a shower 'con funghi', this is the place to... More

While very convenient for Garibaldi station, a plus, the hotel is jaded; the rooms are adequate, but the bathroom needed updated, though functional. However the elevators were unreliable, sometimes not responding to floor buttons meaning you had to get out and get another elevator, compounding the annoyance is that, being on the 1st floor, I'd heave been happy to use... Stayed here because I was at a conference. Overall, it was perfectly adequate for this purpose. There is a decent meeting room set up; food provided for the meeting was good. Negative points: the bar ran out of beer on the 2nd night - but was not up late that evening anyway so not a major downer. Plus points: Metro... More

Staying here out of courtesy as a friend booked it. It has a good location but not much else. Rooms are tired and you really don't feel special staying here. Never stayed at ATA Hotel before, and doubt that I will again. They have the nerve to charge6 euros extra for wi if when the room costs 170 Euros !... More

Dire ! Does not live up to the reviews, location or rating. Saved by some good hearted staff who try, but are under resourced. I arrived and was sent to the top floor, looked at my key number, which was for the 3rd floor. Entered room with 3 beds made up (for just me) and two had been slept in... More

I and my group on stayed in this property. It is an aging hotel in need of renovation and an injection of hospitality. The hotel itself is nice, but aging, way. It is not old enough to be classic and not new enough to be comfortable. The service is mediocre and the staff marginally helpful. Would not stay at again.

While definitely an upgrade from ATA The Big Residence, this hotel still falls short of ideal for a business traveler. On the upside; the front desk staff is exceptionally responsive and friendly; the rooms are fairly comfortable, if a little cramped; the bathrooms are roomy and the shower is high and hot. The rooms are carpeted (an improvement over The... More

Impressive hotel overlooking porta Garibaldi station. Literally across the road. Gorgeous reception area and helpful friendly staff including porterage of bags. Hotel has four lifts didn't see stairs. Lovely room looking out over the station, busy road outside but amazing sound proofing so no problem. Went for evening meal at the really pretty restaurant. Ordered for three of us and... More

We (family of five, needed two rooms) here for a quick overnight stay to catch the 6.00am TGV to Paris. Served our purposes well, clean, comfortable hotel. I do agree with other reviewers that as a a family and clearly tourists I was not made to feel welcome, a cold reception, not rude but I got the message that we... More

We booked this hotel in Milan as we were arriving by train at 10.00 at night and going on to Verona the next day by train and it's perfectly placed by the station. First impressions were excellent, nice clean reception with helpful staff, but then we hit a snag! We were put on the fourth floor and as per usual... More
