Booked this on line as it was 4 star. If you like a room with little aircon, have bath while showering ( bad plumbing), and one english TV channel, ccn, then this is the place for you. The staff have been very friendly and pleasant but can not detract away from the fact that this is not 4 star hotel.... More

This is a fairly basic hotel. Small room, with aircon that was switched off a lot of the time. Breakfast only and no restaurant. Staff were very helpful and I had a problem free stay. Would stay again on a business trip but would not stay for a holiday.

I was in Milan for business, and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The room was smaller than my college dorm room was. There was a desk and TV stand mounted to the wall, a twin sized bed, and a small walking space in between. The shower was so small and narrow that I has to turn sideways... More

Nothing spectacular here but the location within walking distance to the Duomo and other attractions makes it worthwhile. The rooms are spartan and small but everything is there European style. Breakfast is basic standard fare.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, during a business trip. I enjoyed the location, very safe and at a 10 minutes walking distance to the Duomo. There is a big parking right across the hotel, at a cost of 22 euros per day but I understood that there is a 20% discount if the hotel puts a stamp on... More

I went to visit Milan last week for attending a meeting and stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was great and room was clean/quiet. I enjoyed my stay and will certainly stay again.

The location is good, a few minutes walking to the metro station and not far to the city center and Duomo. The room was good, comfortable, clean and with a good frigo bar. The staff is friendly and professional. The only thing the wifi is not so good.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location. A few minutes walking to a metro station, and between 15 to 20 minutes walking to Duomo di Milano (the huge cathedral). Cons: it is absurd how rude the receptionist was with me and my wife (an old gentleman who works in the morning). He insisted in talking to us in Italian... More

Just spent there three nights and was lucky that the room faced the back-ward court. Nevertheless, the noise level was above average in the hotel, walls (and doors) very thin, you could hear everything. Decor across the hotel out-dated, no gym, however, wifi and breakfast included in the price. 10-15 minutes' walk to the Duomo. Claimed to be a 4*... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
