The Hotel was nice and tidy, not massive or super modern but my single room had everything i needed. TV, Nice and clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Also the reception was really helpfull and the breakfast pretty good.

This hotel is in drastic need of modernizing in all areas. The shower was a hose in the bathtub, which was very cramped. The shower curtain rail looked very unstable and the curtain wasn't particularly clean. The wifi signal kept dropping. TV had not been plugged in properly (and was tiny), not enough power points in the room to recharge... More

Really, my only complaint had to do with climate control (none) and the fact that housekeeping couldn't or wouldn't replace our plastic drinking glasses. Other guests who stayed in July must have had a toasty time!! Otherwise, we found the rooms to be spotless, beds comfortable, the wireless worked well, the breakfast was more than adequate, and the staff worked... More

Yes, it was for most part great staff, for breakfast, bar and housekeeping. General impression was for lobby area, bar and breakfast room quite OK but far from any extras. Same goes for the conference area, adequate and reasonable. However, one and important thing was a big disappointment. Check in procedure was probably the slowest I have ever experienced in... More

Nice hotel, about 20 minute walk from Milan Cathedral. Good WiFi. Nice and clean. Excellent restaurant 2 minutes walk away, L'Isola del Tesoro, hotel front desk will give you directions, the food was lovely, reasonably priced and friendly waiters. The hotel staff spoke English. Breakfast could do a few more hot choices.

Booked this on line as it was 4 star. If you like a room with little aircon, have bath while showering ( bad plumbing), and one english TV channel, ccn, then this is the place for you. The staff have been very friendly and pleasant but can not detract away from the fact that this is not 4 star hotel.... More

This is a fairly basic hotel. Small room, with aircon that was switched off a lot of the time. Breakfast only and no restaurant. Staff were very helpful and I had a problem free stay. Would stay again on a business trip but would not stay for a holiday.

I was in Milan for business, and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The room was smaller than my college dorm room was. There was a desk and TV stand mounted to the wall, a twin sized bed, and a small walking space in between. The shower was so small and narrow that I has to turn sideways... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
