The hotel is clean, but a bit shabby. The beds are very firm (which I liked a lot) and the bathrooms are a good size with two sinks and a good shower. The pillows were as hard a rock (which I didn't like). The breakfast was excellent and was included with the room.

The hotel is located near the Milano Centrale station which makes it convenient traveling by train. I was initially assigned a room on the second floor despite my advanced request for room on a higher floor. The room on the second floor was noisy and is facing the road and wall of the next building. Requested the Duty Manager to... More

yes the Hotel is old - mid 80s style - but on the other hand it has everything that the good old hotel types used to offer back then when not everything was budget oriented : jaccuzi in the rooms , hair dryer , ironing table , electric curtains , lighting control ,..... it has also free-wifi through the TV... This hotel was is such a good location just across the road from the main train station and metro lines. Can't really fault this hotel, Very clean, excellent breakfast, probably the best breakfast in our 5 weeks in Europe. Friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. Comfortable beds. Room was quiet and overlooking the train station.

Stayed here for one night after arriving by plane from Australia in the morning and travelling to Bellagio on Lake Como the next day. Hotel is situated across the road from one of the exits from the train station. We had a room on 6th floor overlooking the station. Room was extremely quiet thanks to double glazed windows, and of... This hotel rates itself as four stars! It's a big mistakes! Room is ok tidy but smelly. Service is poor. It seems that they lack of manpower. Whenever i need their help, i got to wait for at least 15 mins. Receptionists are unprofessional & never show enthusiasm to serve. It's a bad experience & never recommand it to others.

This hotel has the worst service that I have ever seen all around the world. Our room has 5 flies! And no one clean them out! And the hotel doesn't have a kettle in the room, when you ask reception for hot water, they will tell you need to pay 8 euro for hot water!!! Those service staff in the... More

Dear Gillian Z, We take your comment very seriously and highly appreciate the feedback you have provided. Great position for train travellers particularly - beautiful rooms, clean, everything works electronically - eg curtains open and close, do not disturb switch to operate a light on the outside of the room, door can be opened from a switch by the bed, etc. The only let-down was our reception - probably the worst of many hotels - no hello,... Spent 2 nights in this hotel which is conveniently situated opposite the central station in Milan. Rooms cosy with lots of switches to operate lights/curtains but once you get used to them its fine. Free mini bar had water and orange juice replaced daily which was a nice touch after a day sightseeing. Bathroom well equipped with hairdryer. Breakfast had... More

Michelangelo is super close to the train station, which is great for people who have to catch an early train the next day. The room comes with jacuzzi and is super clean. Bed is very comfortable and is very quiet. There's also a complimentary snack bar in the room (cookies, pepsi, sparkling/still water etc). Breakfast was nice, I especially loved... More
