Stayed for 2 nights, booked at late notice through the BA site, so did little research. Thankfully it turned out to be an excellent deal. Ideally situated next to Centrale Station, rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was outstanding. Would like to see Milan when the sun is out and would definitely head back to this hotel.

This hotel really suited us as it is within walking distance of the central railway station. This means that we could arrive from Munich and leave for Venice easily plus catch a local metro or bus. The hotel room was really wonderful with lovely beds and a fine bathroom. Housekeeping was great, leaving us with fresh fluffy towels each day.... More

Best view ever from the room. Ideal location for most of the tours and transportations. It's a very strategic place in which everything is at your reach. This, said without mentioning the luxury of the hotel that is obvious to notice.

I stayed in this hotel once, during my business trip in Europe, and found it a reasonable place to stay with some benefits. The lobby and front desk people were friendly and accommodating. The lobby was clean, properly laid out and designed. The size of the room was decent, not too small not too large. The bathroom size and cleanliness... More

Good hotel for the price. The rooms are a bit dated, with a depressing burnt red color, but they're clean and comfortable. To use in-room WiFi make sure the television is on, as that's where the access point is located. Just turn down the volume if that bothers you. If I visit Milan again, I would have no problems in... In the words of my teenage son Hotel Michelangelo "has everything you need and nothing you don't". The location is literally a stone's throw from Centrale station which is great if you are arriving by train or coach from the airport. It is also very convenient for the metro, so you can essentially get anywhere in Milan in a matter... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
