We booked a few nights here for the start of our Italian holiday - we wanted somewhere close to the railway station and the Europecar office. It was right outside the station. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel welcome. We had booked a room for 3. It was large with loads of little extras which made us... More

I stayed in Michelangelo hotel for my summer vocations with my close friends in Jun. Unfortunately I lost my baggage during my stay, and with the help of David who sincerely helped me to follow all the tracks and successfully find it back. Helpful leader! Have to say thanks again to him.

This is a convenient business hotel right next the Milano Centrale station (train & metro). Thus, we can explore the city via metro conveniently after we left our luggage at the hotel upon arrival by train. The room is clean & comfortable. Wifi is good and there is a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. Minibar (with 2 bottled water & 2... More

We visited the Michelangelo Hotel for one night as part of a group tour. We arrived at about two thirty in the afternoon and were informed that our rooms were not ready. This wasn't too much of a problem as there were lounge chairs in the foyer, so we could have a sit and wait. When it came time to... More

Strange place. Not in a bad way but felt like we were in a very well preserved old hotel or on a cruise ship. As advertised the hotel is just a block from the Milan train station. The room -- well -- had wood paneling all over with mauve wall paper. The wall with the bathroom was one giant mirror... More

This hotel is right across the street from the main train station in Milan... very convenient for us! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, too. The property is very nice, and the rooms were comfortable. We had two rooms for 6 of us. They were kind enough to store our bags from check-out time til we had to leave to... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
