The Hotel Berna is an older style hotel a short walk from the central train station and the Metro. Our room was OK; bath was small. It had not been updated yet. There is a business center and bar. They serve a great breakfast each morning and have an aperitivo time each evening that has filling and delicious hors d'oeuvres.... more

We almost always stay at B&B's or small inns, but we needed a convenient place for one night in Milan. The Hotel Berna proved to be better than we had expected. Comfortable hotel with pleasant staff. Beautiful chamber and clean, only a little bit small and to hot. Breakfast was good with sufficiënt choice, only the taste of coffee was less. Stayed here for 2 nights, booked directly through hotel's website. Location, breakfast and service can't be beat. Hotel staff seemed very sincere in their efforts to please (before and after stay). Great Breakfast.. many kind of bread, croissant, amazing bacon, nice chocolate flapjack! Breakfast room staff was very very helpful and kind! Instead the room is not a big deal! Bathroom was outdated and not so clean! I think I don't come back there!!!! more
